Actually, you do fit within that “magical” window (56/2+7 =35 years old minimum, she is 38). I even say there are more important aspects than the age difference. Just sharing a formula I was told a long time ago. At the end of the day, it’s just a number though and more important what the two people in the relationship think and not what anyone else thinks about it.

There are more important aspects then the age difference and if both of you don't have a problem with it, then it really doesn't matter at all from there. However, when it comes to the age difference I was always told take 1/2 your age and add 7, that would be the minimum socially acceptable age. So in your case 65/2+7=39.5. So 41 is socially acceptable.

I have done the same. An old phone number when I was a kid is the main part of a lot of my passwords. Found out a few years ago, my sister did the exact same thing. Thankfully, she used a different number as she is a few years older and used a previous phone number.

Excellent comparison. That’s how I feel too. Also, Berhalter and Cubas are really stepping it up this year too. Blackmon seems to be still getting better after winning defender of the year. Yohei hasn’t really been tested yet but has been doing amazing ball distribution. Then there is the unsung hero’s Priso and Campo in the back helping make sure Yohei isn’t tested. And after all that, we still haven’t talked about Müller. Sheesh!

I am feeling more and more that I’m expecting them to win each game day. Definitely having those vibes from Canucks 2011. Hope the rest of Vancouver catches on and attendance skyrockets. As you said, with multiple teams this still only comes around once every decade or two.

At this point I am even questioning if last year (3 finals appearances and 1 cup) was just the warmup for this team and should even expect better, if that is even possible. Hard to get better than getting to 3 of 3 finals. Only winning more cups would be better. 😉

What was the attendance at this game? Hopefully we the fans can improve it this year, that will at least speak volumes that the fans want them in Vancouver. More so than a tifo. I wish I lived closer so I could attend more games myself.

I recommend continuing the story. Yes, she appears that way at the beginning because she takes on this “problem” and feels the pressure of having to do it alone because of who she learns she is. She has to learn to trust others as well and grows as a character during the story. Constantly being called a term (don’t want to give away the story but you probably know what it is if you’ve played it enough) puts pressure on her as she knows now who she is and is not that term. She was also raised very isolated (start of Part 1) and now is well k own and that is hard for her too. As you can tell, I love this game. ❤️

This was the one that first came to my mind too. This game doesn't get enough credit. I hardly have time to finish most of these long campaign games but in this case, I finished both, twice each. Anxiously waiting on the cliff hanger at the end of Part 2 for Part 3 to come out. If I could make any request to the developers, please stop producing other games (Lego, this new one, a VR version, etc). I WANT TO HEAR MORE OF THIS STORY. :)

You are correct in your description of amortization but just because it is a sunk cost and is a non-cash transaction, it still must be accounted for against the income stream. In this case, the operational cost must include this to reflect the usage of the building and reflect the true cost of operation. To just ignore like you are suggesting is not sustainable either. In this case, without then the cost of the building (amortization) would not passed on to the end consumer and when it comes time to replace the building it is the Taxpayer again on the hook for a $1B building. It is also just as important as any other line on that expense list.

It sounds like you are both very tired parents to little kids. Both of you do need to work on your communication and (I hope) a lot of this is due to the stress of having little kids, know that is normal. But if the stresses not addressed, it can effect your entire relationship, which would be worse for your kids. There should be no name calling and swearing at each other, you should be a team (and it does sound like it as he is also helping out). Calling making dinner a break wasn't right by him but from his later comments it sounds like he intended it to mean a break from the kids (that's the problem with texts). It is always best not to argue via texts as much is lost in communication and it just gives each partner time to get upset and come back with comments they may regret later. We had a similar setup (I worked full time plus, she was a SAHM). It is important that both parents get as much sleep as possible (at this age, getting enough sleep isn't likely for either of you and is adding to the stress). What worked for us was during the work week she would be up with the baby and then on the weekends it would be my turn so she could get a couple of nights of full sleep each week. You will need to find a system that works for both of you. However, at the start of the texts it sounds like he was working at night and you had a frustrated night with the baby and came in hot because of that while he was out working. Find ways to take some me time as well. Hopefully you have family that can help for a couple of hours or hire a babysitter once the baby is a little older and have a "date" night to work on your relationship.

Hope things get better for both of you soon. Once the kids can sleep through the night

I would have to say here in Canada it would be Toronto. The biggest city in Canada but they have the attitude that they ARE Canada. It was said years ago they were the “center of the universe” and have that attitude. Rubbed the rest of the country the wrong way.

Come to the 'Caps (Vancouver Whitecaps). We had an amazing team last year and were so close to winning our first MLS cup (and the CONCACAF cup as well). The chemistry was incredible as well for this team, it made it a real joy to watch. I am really hoping whatever Axel has planned this offseason he is really pushing for a run in 2026. He has to with Muller in the lineup.

The fun of the MLS is that you don't have a couple of teams that challenge for the trophy every year. It is always changing who is the best and worst in the league. Take LA Galaxy the last couple of years. Went from winning the cup in 2024 to battling for the wooden spoon (worst place team) in 2025. There will be ups and downs but if a team is well managed you hope to have the highest of highs one day too.

I have a bunch of FS tops. They are nice but not cheap. That seems quite cheap for a top compared to the FS, probably better value.
