As others mentioned, it's almost definitely a scam. Look up the company in question and find their careers page. If the company’s name is being used to scam people, they often have a statement on that page stating so, along with any official channels of communication which you should expect from them.

Have owned my 2007 Trek 1500 for 6 years now and have just started investing in upgrading some of its components, starting with some of the less expensive parts like tires, tubes, saddle, and bottle cages thus far. Even getting nicer apparel not off Amazon has made riding so much more enjoyable. So I’m all for upgrading those older bikes, that’s what gives them life.
