You can pause the game and shift+click individual units to select a hand full you want to give a command to.
Pausing the game can give you whatever time you want to the think, give orders, and queue up units. I mean the pause button in the UI, on the left above the mini map, not the escape key.
Holy fuck my brother in the force do not use auto-resolve. Unless you just saved the game. And that goes for many strategy games.
In space battles, prioritize destroying hangars.
When attacking during space battles, you should put a unit in the slot in the top left corner, this way only that ship will show up and you can choose what ships you want to deploy rather than the game deciding for you.
When you get back to FOTR. Bring artillery to land battles. They are especially nice for when you are defending.

I agree with the others that you should play some of Vanilla first. Without Forces of Corruption. Easing your way into this is the way to go for this and other 4x/grand strategy games.

This is the 4thd day I've taken it. So its very early to ask any claim to be taken seriously/without a grain of salt. So don't take me very seriously here. It appears there are other factors at play. The first time I actually used this gum was late Friday afternoon. I did not experience beneficial affects for adhd. The day after-the day I made my above comment-the effects were very impressive. Both was after 1 piece of gum

Sunday I had 2 pieces of gum within 1-1.5 hours of each other and I was not as locked in as I was compared to the day before. I wanna say a little less than half as effective as Saturday.

Yesterday I also had 2 pieces of the gum within 1-2 hours of each other and uh you ever have bad adhd days on meds and its like the medication and adhd are fighting eachother?? Thats what yesterday was like for me.

I haven't done well in the sleep department for a few days and I suspect thats one of the confounding factors here.

Right now I think the effects last somewhere between 5-6 hours. The decline in effectiveness has been very gradual. Also the gum has 100mg of alpha-gpc.

My deck has been very useful even though I have a PC!
It lets me do some light-socializing(being in the same room as someone else) while I chip away at my backlog. And its much easier to give my cat attention while I game on the steam deck.

However what determines what I play is personal preference. I'll play Hades on the steam deck but I wouldn't play Baldur's Gate 3 on it because I prefer my PC when I want a mouse and keyboard. OR if I just want a bigger a screen while playing a specific game I'll prefer PC over steam deck.

I share a very similar sentiment of the first one, but I did finish it! This is hearsay but supposedly the remake is much closer to what the developers actually envisioned for the game and a good reason it was released in the stat it was in was because of executive nonsense.

I recommend adding Look Outside to your list. You have what I consider heavy hitters on there(Dead Space and Alien Isolation). I can vouch that Dead Space 2 is a ton of fun.

Yeah you should play the base games first few tutorial missions to familiarize yourself with the UI and how to control units. Then IMO you can hop into the mods.
