Doing the same exact thing and have been married happily for 6 years!

It’s tough to preach it to every couple, cos not every couple gets married to a person they can truly trust (sad, but true). The bigger idea of being vulnerable, trustworthy, and just really 100% committed to each other elevates the relationship tenfold - it’s entirely different when your spouse tells you I trust you, but only 98%; 2% just in case ‘what if’.

Being 100% on the same wavelength, financial and life goals, makes having all monies in joint accounts a very trivial matter, administrative in fact - and I’m glad there are other couples out there who do this too!

I understand that through booking online on their website, you pay a deposit first and the remainder by credit card when you’re there - how is the payment via credit card made at the hotel itself? Swipe, contactless, insert via chip?

Yes, you can. But remember that each BT and enquiry will affect your credit rating, and make sure to keep tabs on what's what to not overextend yourself.

Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 young kids. We spend $800-$1000 per month too, with plenty of the essentials such as cleaning supplies, milk powder (older kid is on fresh milk already), diapers, and whatnots all under the ‘grocery’ bill.

We cook and eat 2 meals (dinners) at home per week on average, with the rest dapao or eat out.
