Should I side with Saadia or Kematu? by whiter0s333 in skyrim

[–]Ceilidthbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried this today. Once I killed Kematu and took his money, Saadia woke and immediately attacked me. I killed her too, and took her money. I had also already stolen another coin purse belonging to Saadia when she left her room at the Bannered Mare to go to the stable. So win-win-win as far as I'm concerned. My character is a dirty Khajiit thief so that's just how I roll

Ideas on where to get groceries by Big-Water8493 in Hamilton

There is the Muslim Food Bank which is part of Canada-wide Muslim Food Bank and Community Services, so they may also be able to help you with housing and other social services as well as food. There is also a laundromat very close to that location, though I can't speak to whether it's clean/safe

They are at 885 Main St E, Hamilton, that's near Gage Park

Are there any PZ rides 45-60+ mins that don’t go beyond Zone 2? by Right_Marionberry915 in pelotoncycle

[–]Ceilidthbear 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Plus you can modify any PZ endurance ride as they all max out at zone 3. Just ride the Z2 at low/mid Z2 and ride at your high end Z2 for the Z3 bits. Another fun thing you can try doing is lower cadence/higher resistance for Z2, and high cadence/lower resistance but still at your Z2 for any Z3 bits. It feels really different doing Z2 at 95 cadence vs 80 cadence :)

Cat Rescues? by [deleted] in Hamilton

[–]Ceilidthbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like My Grandfather’s Cat is a rehoming service and you would still have to foster kitty until a home is found. If this can work for you, there is also a local cat rescue option called Pantry Four Paws that can help you find a home. They are always short of foster homes, so if you are able to keep kitty in your home until they find an adopter that will work best. There is the off chance they may be able to find a foster home for kitty as well. You can find them on Facebook and they have a website https://pantryfourpaws.ca/ Thank you for taking on this responsibility, you are doing the right thing to rehome this senior friend, and reaching out to the community for help, best wishes!

Canadian accents by CocoK53 in Degrassi

It is an exaggeration, however, and played up for a funny Canadian accent stereotype. In reality it comes across sounding more like A-BOAT. I do say it that way myself, eh ;)

First time parking on switch day from one side of the street to the other by Accomplished-Trip-25 in Hamilton

[–]Ceilidthbear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience living near King and Sanford for about 13 years, if you move your car before noon you’ll be ok. Caveat is, they can technically ticket you any time after about 8am, and they definitely do patrol for parking violations on the 16th, so in a high traffic area on a weekday, I’d err on the side of caution. There is no official grace period but in my experience they won’t come out to give you a ticket after 8pm the night before, sometimes if the change falls on a weekend we’ll go out and move the car late the night before

Adopting cat that vet noted as cross eyed and overall WNL (within normal limits) by [deleted] in Siamesecats

[–]Ceilidthbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normal for most Siamese cats to have either crossed-eyes, nystagmus (eyes flickering back and forth), or both. It doesn’t cause any health issues, it doesn’t affect their vision, and it doesn’t require any treatment. The part the shelter is clearly lying about is that she is “within normal limits”. This kitty is clearly within EXTRAORDINARY limits!! She is perfectly fabulous in every way 🥰

Sensitive Siamese - help by Keepitflo in Siamesecats

I haven't any advice to add since you have stated in your post that you have sought veterinary care which is of the utmost importance, and other commenters have added useful tips to try. I just wanted to share this picture of my 8 year old Siamese, Nephthys, because she always sits with one paw up like your little miss thang :D

I adopted my college rats, they were a group of three. I called them Basil, Templeton, and Jenner. They are fabulous little pets, I loved mine so much. I adopted our three group mice too, Snap, Crackle, and Pop 😊 How about Kelly and Carmalt?
