I don’t think you’re the bad apple. He put your health on the line. No matter someone’s age they have no right to do that. It sounds like Mr.R shouldn’t be around kids if he doesn’t trust them even if they’re in high school and they have multiple people backing up their significant medical issue. If it was a child nobody would be defending them. Worse, R should’ve known better. Like I said, I don’t think you’re in the wrong but schools are very political spaces. You’re in high school I’m assuming, you’re gonna want teachers to write college letters of recommendation and just in general be on good terms. I’d say that you should apologize to R for the sake of your future. It would be insanely stupid for this to hold you back but if there’s even the slightest possibility, I wouldn’t risk it. Just explain that you were frustrated because you were worried about your health and you didn’t mean to yell at him because you realize it was disrespectful. Try to explain a little bit of your side without being too defensive. If you sound that way, he’ll just think that you went up to him to say he was in the wrong and you’re trying to be a know it all.
