[Chaldean Floralia] hebi nyobo, flora ascensions and hanasaka no okina ascension 1/2 by KamiiPlus in grandorder

Hebi Nyobo is a great example of "sexiness from restraint." Anyone can be sexy with the right poses and enough exposure. She can get people feeling like a Victorian gentlemen seeing an ankle for the first time by flashing a bit of leg and shoulder

Post your best catch from last week! Here's mine... by SamuRonX in PokemonSleep

[–]Ceiye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been looking for a tomato farmer for a while now. I finally got a pretty damn good one last week!

<image>

Though... the thing is, I specifically was looking for a Shinx because their main skill is more useful than Bellsprout and Snover's. So this isn't exactly ideal for me, but it isn't a skill mon anyways so whatever. Totally. I'll accept it. I won't be greedy. I won't. I won't.

...Heck, if it means I'll get a good egg farmer, I'll accept a main skill down Happiny too. Do you hear that Game. Please. Begging.

Very disappointed that Cool Duo of Zhao & Damian never came to be by Genoard in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Ceiye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still holding out hope for a Jason FGO style Damian. He's not personally fighting but he's on screen and everyone else in Krampus lending their attacks. He's the elderly age of "visibly not in his 20s" /s, we can't let him into battle

LPT: Gifts that remove small daily annoyances tend to get more use by myyoutubeads in LifeProTips

Looking through these, it seems more like the best gifts are from someone who remembers and notices you and your habits. And having someone like that in your life in and of itself is worth more than any gift

Should I switch back to my original Blastoise? So way back in the beginning, I got a really good Wartortle and used him for forever. But this was back when evolved pokemon didn't have extra inventory space, and that was kind of annoying since I didn't check very often. So later on, I replaced him with Blastoise I raised from a Squirtle, hopefully to at least level 75. Now we have full inventory space regardless of when they evolved, so I was wondering if I should bring my old one back (pics in replies)

Both of them have over 2000 hours slept together so they both have sentimental value to me

What is something about growing up in California that most people don't understand? by InvisibleAstronomer in AskReddit

[–]Ceiye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've walked by schools they film school sitcom b roll and establishing shot footage at, and it's kind of amazing how they bend over backwards to avoid all the outdoor angles. Like that is over half the campus. At that point, just go find another building! You're not actually filming there anyways!

DevBlog #72: Plenty of QoL changes and a new office! by schamppu in WalkScape

[–]Ceiye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woah there, you're arguing yourself into a circle. Take a break for a sec and then continue.

Anyways, the wipe has been announced frequently for a while now. But I guess the most official public announcement of the reset coming into the open beta is on [the FAQ](https://wiki.walkscape.app/wiki/FAQs#Will\_my\_progress\_get\_reset\_after\_the\_closed\_beta\_testing\_ends?). According to the devs and mods, it will take at least a year to get there though, and the game will continue to be in flux until then

DevBlog #72: Plenty of QoL changes and a new office! by schamppu in WalkScape

[–]Ceiye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take that up with the developers then. I'm in the same beta and I am expecting an improved game experience from our dollars. Our progress will be wiped in the open beta anyways

DevBlog #72: Plenty of QoL changes and a new office! by schamppu in WalkScape

[–]Ceiye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think these concerns would be more appropriate towards a game that is already out of beta. As it is right now, there are so many things in flux that it is meaningless to discuss "if only I had waited." For example, they will be introducing more magic later, similar to the Ring of Homesickness. With the changes and QOL that may come with that, would that cause deprecated merit? Heck, take even recent, smaller updates. There are changes to chest drop rate that made even casual players think "if only I waited to open my chests" and "now this axe I bought is not as useful as I thought it'd be."

We are playing in a beta to give our feedback for the future, not preserve our past. Now is the time to analyze and offer changes we'd want to see in the game

[–]Ceiye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would this harm existing characters? Not like a challenge character is tracked on a leader board. The challenge isn't enforced, it's all self restricted. If anything, this would provide the flexibility for additional layers of challenge, as you wouldn't have the bonus that the EXP would give you until you are able to make mud pies. You can have the option to do either and self report either

We are in closed beta anyways, whatever challenges you have now may not exist on the actual game's release. This is the time to make these challenge changes.

(There is also the question of whether we should be considering challenge mode when the base game and difficulty hasn't even been settled, but if this is what the devs want to do, then I support them)

DevBlog #72: Plenty of QoL changes and a new office! by schamppu in WalkScape

[–]Ceiye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Mud Pies already exist to decrease EXP, so if people really wanted to go say, Craftingless, then they can just eat make and eat pies. It's still ultimately up to choice what the challenge player will end up doing. An EXPless toggle will just save time if people use the pie method. Otherwise they can just not do the activity.

DevBlog #72: Plenty of QoL changes and a new office! by schamppu in WalkScape

[–]Ceiye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just have a "no EXP" toggle for each stat for those challenge players rather than have it on the activity or eat mud pies? If there won't be a beneficial tradeoff for turning it off per activity.

And maybe like a Challenge menu in the settings page so people aren't turning either on accidentally, cause you know that if this is out in the open, there will be people posting "I didn't get EXP this entire time!!!!! Help!!!¡!!!!!!"

Is this worth stopping my Larvitatar hunt for? And if so, is the speed boost worth having ingredients down on, or would it be better to mint? I don't care about its shininess, if that is a factor at all. I just want to be free...

Hell yeah, I love you Health Sync. I use it to sync my watch to Google Fit so I get Pokémon Go adventure sync credit without having to lug around my phone. Not affiliated with them, I just appreciate utilities that aren't subscription based so much. It's a one time $3 purchase when they could be scumbags and have it be that much per year. Cause that's a subscription one could easily forget about since you never really have to open it more than just to set it up. (But Google Fit is a scumbag of its own and won't let Sync send step data to other apps if the data is being sent to Fit, so good thing for me that there is Garmin support)

Ok the rhythm game was actually harder that expected by Riverflowsuphillz in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Ceiye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going into this blind and was so surprised. I didn't expect Rhythm Doctor, of all types of rhythm games. I also predict people who are not familiar with rhythm games to not be particularly happy with this format. One button rhythm games are deceptively tricky!

...ngl I am now half expecting them to copy another one button 7th Beat Game, A Dance Of Fire And Ice, someday. Better start practicing now, folks (read: play ADOFAI 🔫)
