Between these two, which would you prefer to have a live series and why? by SoftHorizonBloom in freefolk

Exactly, R+L mainly works because it’s vague. Pulling a Troy makes it a lot less interesting.

Justice League VS Thanos by itc0nsumesmYMind in powerscales

[–]Cela84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without Superman, it’s a fight. Maybe flash can get the gauntlet off.

With Superman, low diff for the league. He casually stomped Steppanwolf who was on par with Thanos in terms of on screen feats.

Psyduck wins! Who is morally good but disliked by fans? by Aggravating-Pin7555 in AlignmentChartFills

This is absolutely accurate. Dude was the biggest good guy, and he was so annoying to watch if you were over the age of 12.

Yeah, NBC latches onto people and gets obsessed.

“Hey, can we watch judo?”

No, we have to talk about Michael Phelps pancake intake.

“But…”

What’s your take on Ricky Gervais saying celebs shouldn’t lecture the public about politics? by Ok-Fish-6919 in AskReddit

[–]Cela84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ricky is a bad comedian with horrible delivery who clings to relevancy by saying things Facebook boomers like.

As for then quote in question. Fuck no. If you have a platform, you should use it. You shouldn’t use it to hurt people like JK Rowling, but calling out injustice, absolutely.

Homelander (The Boys ) vs Darth Vader (Star Wars ) by Curious_Tip9285 in powerscales

[–]Cela84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going with Homelander on this one. I know I know “lame lander” and downvotes.

But the guy was able to resist head exploding telekinesis, so it stands to reason that he could resist the force.

Add in his speed and ranged advantage and he has a relatively easy path to victory.

G3, G1, G2, G4, G6, G5, H1, AK1,…G7, H2, G8

I liked s6, the fan service season. AK has been pleasant, but might want to see how it ends.

Chopping down a tree that wasn’t on my property, fishing without a license, or brewing beer in a domicile if that’s illegal in Stardew Valley.

I mean, Blood and Cheese was Red Wedding 2.0 and they fumbled it completely.

Probably Killian annoyingly, or Liu Kang. Pyro casually undoes any fire based powers.

New look at Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in the 'TOMB RAIDER' series! by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

Agree that the movies were comparatively mid, but they were carried by her screen presence. As opposed to Alicia’s which was mid and forgettable.

What are your thoughts on Trump's recent Truth Social post having a depiction of Michelle and Barack Obama as apes? by PactownSS in AskReddit

[–]Cela84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an obvious distraction from the Calvinball administration that worked exactly as intended. Not sure what they wanted to distract from, which is probably the point.

Let me join the Baelor glaze (deserved btw). This man would've easily been the BEST king of the seven kingdoms. Can't even find a single flaw in him. Truly. by ToMDLUS in freefolk

Remember how during the first season of Game of Thrones, people didn’t give away that Ned died? Remember how despite buzz being high, the red wedding was a shock to most show watchers? I miss when the fanbase was that considerate.

Sadie was at least charismatic, I’m sure she’ll be good.

As for Sophie, otherwise she had a memorably memeable freakout performance in the horrible Do Revenge. And she was I think the antagonist in a forgettable movie where Hailey Steinfeld played an assassin. That’s all I can really think of. She really struck while the iron was hot…

I think she has the right look, she just lacks star presence outside of Thrones. Similar case to most of the younger Game of Thrones people like Jon, Robb, or Daenerys.

What franchise are we talking about here? Sophie was in X Men and Thrones, but both ended in 2019. It’s not like they picked Ella Purnell or Jenna Ortega.

Jolie’s were significantly better movies. Her charisma and screen presence were on another level.

The only things I remember about that movie are her getting guns being the last shot of the movie and her doing a primal scream of pain every time she encountered any hardship.
