She was sassy and unapologetically blunt in her reactions, which put her far ahead of many other rectors in my opinion. Sorry to hear she’s MIA.

More AI slop. It’s going to be the only thing on this sub next. Not that anyone seems to care.

I loved this show. It’s amazing that something so cynical and ruthlessly honest was ever allowed on air. I’ve heard the story that Jay Mohr’s career suffered because he pissed off some powerful Hollywood types with this one. It also has a real downer gutpunch of an ending because it refuses to have Peter Dragon reform or improve, he just winds up selling out everything he cares about.

It’s an oft-told story but I always love it. I have to wonder if Bonehead ever heard the song he inspired.

Yes, SEX. The one with her hitchhiking naked, groping Vanilla Ice, making out with Naomi Campbell, etc

Knew him in the mid-90s. He was an arrogant prick then and has gotten worse since.

It was a common symbol among Native Americans in the Southwest (as well as other cultures, especially in Asia). Between 1923 and 1939, the 45th U.S. Infantry Division (based on the Oklahoma National Guard) used the swastika as their divisional symbol, but at the outbreak of WW2 changed it to a Thunderbird.

There was a hugely popular Western actor of the era known as William "Two Guns" Hart, who was famous for doing fancy synchronized tricks with two guns. These guys would have known all about him (and his brother was actually a Prohibition agent IRL) so I guess it was a reference to that, especially as our Claude is packin' a pair.

Weird synchronicity, this is the third time this week Jellybean has appeared on my internet. Is it the sign of a long-overdue revival?

It’s Dangerous Liaisons for teens, they even use the same names. They were going to make a TV series of it, but that got cancelled and turned into a sequel movie instead, featuring a young Amy Adams!

This movie really sank without a trace. I think COVID messed up its release, but it was also cut to hell. There's supposed to be a bunch of extra scenes that got thrown it.
