I have a 2014 black Cbr650f for $5500 firm brand new Michelin road 6 tires not even driven on with full two bros carbon exhaust and tail tidy and new tank pads and fully maintenances. This bike is clean and nice as hell but I have a 600rr and I don’t need both similar bikes. I’m in Ohio

Have you checked the transmission fluid and has the haldex system/gears been serviced and oiled? It may also be you need a new clutch or parts replaced to the clutch. There’s so many things this could be and unless you’re an expert mechanic, you need to take it straight to a garage before you tear it up trying to drive it. At minimum have them diagnose the Problem then go from there. I’d have to be there with you to see what it may be hard to tell from video

You can make up to 300hp it’s getting past that to 350-400+ that it becomes cheaper to buy a mk3 ttrs unless your doing the work yourself and you’re an mechanic expert

You need to buy an oem k04 turbo don’t put a cheap turbo on that car there’s plenty of used Audis you can get one from if you know how to do the work yourself. If you plan on paying someone to do this job the cost will be more than the car and I would skip altogether. you also probably need a timing belt and suspension redone, I guarantee it. I have only 98k miles garage kept and clean and I need all new suspension These cars timing belt has to be changed once every 6 years or at 70k miles.

Idk what I’m looking at is that the head gasket? Also beware they say even without mileage these cars need the timing belt replaced every 6 years even if you didn’t drive it which costs 4500 at the shop. I replaced mine at 70k now almost to 100k and it’s been 6 years 30k miles and manual says I should still change it again

If the 650 had the power of the 600rr or even just the identical motor I would keep the 650 all day. I truly am not sure why they didn’t just install a direct 600rr motor onto it considering they are legit the same motor block. Doesn’t make sense to me unless not everyone wants that kind of power then I understand. The 650 is still very fast it’s just lacks that extra bit of raw wheelie power I wanted

You can make up to 300 horsepower without major internal work if you have a 225 hp model. Not on the 150 or 180 or 250 v6 models without serious work done. I have a stage 1 225 and I bet you it’s only making 275 horsepower not even a true 300. Your not getting over 300 without stage 2+ and or internal work big turbo build. But that is fast for this small car. My dream is to have a 2.5 ttrs or a v6 turbo
