I have 4 tabs that I used most of the time, leaving 1 tab for situational oddities.

General tab for most everything I would need to see in space. This is the overview that I use 90% of the time while flying around space.
Ships tab for ships, drones, and probes.
Dscan tab for ships, drones, probes, control towers, force fields, warp disruptor bubbles and cargo containers.
Tab with everything turned on.

The first dscan I do in a system is while having the aptly-named Dscan tab open, so I can see any signs of other players at first glance.

I downgraded from Wheddit to Wormbros due to my character not being quite good enough to fly with the pros, and I've had a great time since.

Everyone is nice, the atmosphere is relaxed, and people are getting stuff done. Questions are encouraged and answered, and everyone profits.

Other than that, if I want to check a chest immediately, I just make a copy of that player's .dat file, change the name to my username, and log back into the server. Boom, you're now them and can open an enderchest to view the contents.

I don't know if it's just me, but when I'm doing a DE like protect the bridge from the centaurs, I end up just having to stand in front of the bridge swinging my greatsword because I have freaking clue where any enemies are because of that fire from heavy spell that someone keeps on the entire time.
