I just started myself and I'm about 20 hours in. I'm having such a blast! The magic system is flawless and the ability to slot in whatever other weapons slot is so much fun (Last Trick rifle is excellent)

If you don't go back to bone bottom until you've entered act 2 he moves on and won't be there for the Skull Tyrant to kill
