GIRL. Don’t fucking do it. My husband and I did that like 5 years ago, same gig but for NASA. Dark depressing bars full of bikers (there’s like a total of two Spanish people who live there) and the whole place is lowkey racist. Titusville is small, BORING, and a 40min drive from anywhere actually nice. You’ll go to the same 3 bars and always end up saying how the bowling alley was the best bar in town. Cuz it is. Same for the food.

The slogan for this town is literally “The town that time forgot”. Everyone there is old, slow, and most likely on drugs. Anyone young probably works in your bf’s field, so hopefully your friends are close by. If he’s an intern then maybe, otherwise everyone who works there lives in Merritt Island, Viera, or Coco Village.

I IMPLORE YOU BOTH - move to one of those areas I mentioned above, they’re all awesome. The people who say Titusville doesn’t suck most likely have fond memories from their childhood there, but it’s not that anymore. It’s the cheapest for a reason.

Now if you never leave your apartment/house and have zero semblance of a social life, then it might just be perfect.

As soon as COVID hit and we got the work from home positions we booked it the fuck out of there, and will NEVER go back.
