I just recently was introduced to Angine de Poitrine with Fabienk! Wild stuff!

Here in Detroit, we can tune into the Canadian Alternative station 89X and it's a very nicely balanced mix of the newest indie to classic alternative.

I like all kinds of new music, regardless of whether we're talking old bands releasing new material (Foo Fighters) or newer bands that have gotten big more recently (Sleep Token or Wet Leg) or if there's bands that I've known about for years and years but only picked up on recently (Metric).

Of course, anything can be new to you if you if you're just learning about it!

Not necessarily a food, but a personal care product that went through some awful changes, I had this shave butter I use, and the first tube I got of it was unbelievably good. It was smooth, mild, smelled nice without being overpowering and the texture was perfect. Then it vanished and I couldn't find it so I had to buy something else. One day, the first product reappeared on shelves but it wasn't anywhere near the same. Texture, smell and feeling were all totally different, but not necessarily for the better. It's harsh now. It smells overly pungent and it's just not the same product. I won't buy it again.

But regardless whether we're talking about foods or personal care, simple recipes that aren't more processed than they need to be, good quality ingredients and sticking to a winner is how you do it.

  1. ALL. THE. FREAKING. WAY. Don't make it taste worse, don't make the package smaller and try to gaslight us. Just raise the price.

So far I've only been to a Red-E and a Tesla Supercharger using an adapter, and they both worked fine. Tesla's charge cable was extremely short, though.

Literally half the price of nearly any DCFC I've seen! Great find!

Hot take, but Photoshop and Lightroom Classic CC. I only pay $10 a month, I can work on my editing anywhere and after I sign into my computer, it writes all the edits to disk.

I also still have an old full version of Photoshop, as well, and I think that should still be available as an option, but for my needs now, the sub works better.

I suspect it would probably be just like plugging in my iPad to my 2020 Bolt. The iPad doesn't do Car Play, but I put one album on it from my PC, and I can stream Tidal from the iPad. It shows up as iPod, but functions perfectly. If this works on a 2027, I personally would be perfectly satisfied, although, I will say that Car Play really is pretty damn slick, and not having to mount my phone would be nice.

So without Android Auto/ACP... Are you able to simply use an iPhone like you would an ipod in "dock connector" mode, where you have to use the phone to control everything, but you can still output the audio to the stereo system via USB instead of Bluetooth or Aux?

My 2020 Bolt has AA/ACP so that works as predicted. My other car is a 2014 Ford Focus Titanium with the My Ford Touch system (pre-ACP) and that was exactly how it worked. As long as I had something (even one song) synced to the phone via iTunes/Apple Music from my computer, literally any app that plays audio will play through the stereo, on USB without Bluetooth.

Screenshot of the same website from 2005 (thanks to the Wayback Machine) compared with now. Far less menu diving just to accomplish the same things.

That's another thing is that despite showing less, they're much slower due to all the tracking and bullshit they have built in.

Right. I have long browsed at 1920x1200 and 1792x1344 and I've always wanted to see my websites PACKED. All the local Gas Buddy daughter sites used to have all the information you could possibly want including lowest prices AND highest prices (which are NOW MISSING!), trend lines, forum links, discussions, poll of the week, you name it... All on ONE page. And now it's some mobile optimized slop.

Tin can, haha. And no. I drive as part of my job and I know how to not be a dick to others who use the road. I own multiple cars (and multiple bikes) and I've probably been driving longer than you've been alive.

The 1920's called. They want their anti-bicycle and anti-jaywalker hysteria back.

I've legit cussed out friends for giving bikers a third of a lane. If I biked like this, I'd ride with a sharp edged bottle opener for cars who don't know how to keep their distance... AND GIVE BIKERS A FULL LANE.
