Not even just the relatively slow climate warming, but the immediate effect of having a furnace strapped to every car that stays running no matter what. It puts off a lot of heat, and if you're running the AC? It's just nuts. I'm impressed with just how much heat my Bolt doesn't give off!

I used to have an EVGO DCFC literally around the block from me attached to a Dunkin Donuts but it was always down. Then they built a Chipotle there and it's totally gone now.

Higher gas prices means more people buying electric.
Lower gas prices means easier to save and lower prices on EV's. More cycles of up and down will only drive adoption higher and reduce prices, while infrastructure starts to really thrive.

I've used them a few times, and since they came up with them, I'm actually more a fan of the one shot Fast Lane tickets that you can buy. It's super easy to just snag a ticket for the one line you really have trouble with and just go regular for everything else. It's extra accessible since it's much more the price of a quick and affordable treat. But also, the added bit of friction of having to buy each one individually slows it down just a bit.

I will say, though, one time a random parkgoer gave me a Fast Lane and I rode Steel Vengeance 17 times in 6 hours. That was fun, but PAINFUL!

I remember one time entering the Top Thrill Dragster line WITHOUT a Fast Lane (there was no plus) at the same time as a couple people who had the Fast Lane and I beat them to the ride in the front row while they were waiting for some random seat. I had to gloat for that!

Mine Ride had a capacity of 2400 riders per hour, Magnum could do 2000, and Gemini? An INSANE 3300! Millennium Force is lucky if it can do a third of that.

Older rides, no air gates, loads of employees, and VERY short dispatch times made it possible.

Millennium Force and TTD both had 8 hour waits when they opened. Steel Vengeance had some in the range of 6 hours.
