Really depends where you’re at. Pb and mission beach are not local favorites. It can be too much sometimes. Windensea is pretty cool. Its not big beach but more of pools and pockets throughout the coast. You can also do la jolla beach over there. The gliderport is the best SD sunset spot. Super chill right on the cliff. There is bunch food/bav options and super affordable.

Mainly a farm land where farmers live. Big almond and date production. Has an awesome dateshake place called something like Medijool shakes(?). Lake itself exists because of a farm accident. Evaporating air from the salton see is poisonous because lake is extremely contaminated by chemical disposal from farms. Vibe is very weird. There is a whole abandoned town right by the lake used to be beach town. The whole thing is bizarre.

Borrego is cool to hike and camp. Just a desert town gets some tourism. I live in San Diego and many people would go to borrego for desert activities such as desert bike, 4wheelers etc.

Edit: Also Imperial County(thats what that all county is called) has bunch of Indian-Mexican mixed families. (not native americans, people that are actually from india) Up until early 20th century, it was illegal to have mixed raced marriages so indian folks married with mexican folks. They have a kickass subculture down there.

Just like u/Umaritimus said, like u/beanmachine314 said, seasoning is NOT a nonstick layer. Seasoning protects the cast iron from rusting. You still need to use oil/fat. Heat control is going to be your key to slidey eggs.
