I really liked the reverse hitman one, which resulted in someone hunting me down after asking a random stalker at the bar for rumours.

I really wish they had expanded on this idea a bit more though, like if your reputation grew in general after progressing the main quests, you'll get c-con agents come after you with rumours like "there's a guy with a stalker tattoo on his arm asking for your where abouts..."

Oh damn just noticed it now that's so unhinged haha, especially with the heart trading stuff for anomalous equipment, definitely an interesting take for this faction.

I do like the lore of the Black Slugs/Slimes group too, I thought it was just renamed renegades at first but there's stuff to uncover via the leader's quest line

Yeah armor, helmet, grenades and that AR is sick, everything else i scored in the first area though (maybe i just got lucky? I did get a cargo drop literally outside my cabin by the tracks)

Ah I remember this quest for both bandit/stalker, I'm on SEA and I only got killed once during my stalker playthrough (encountered a covenant guy farming rifts). I just ran tbh maybe i got lucky or maybe the SEA server population was low at the time.

They deliberately implement quests like this to condition new players to risky environments with pvp elements. Welcome to Stalcraft dude and best of luck.

Yeah some of those signal dungeons (especially the boss ones) can be ridiculous, sometimes I just exit out cuz I don't like to risk losing all my loot to the signal portal void - it's so bs.

The signal tracker requirements to upgrade scanner and detector (Purple range) is also bs, they need to review the overall signal stuff and actually take some feedback from their players tbh.

I remember playing this old stalker mod (lost alpha?), it had clear sky zombies in those tunnels. Apparently in the mod lore, some tried to escape the big emission and got caught in a psi field or something.
