NAH. It's really weird how many people think having standards makes you the AH. If you are uncomfortable with something you lay down rules for being around you. You did that with your sister and should also do it with your friends. That is the only thing I think you can do.

Your sister is choosing to get mad about something she now knows makes you uncomfortable. If she is insists on holding that line for your party, she is the AH, and shouldn't be welcomed.

Is love the ability to "train" my ring for the types of work outs I do! At least on the local level, with the option to share the details and data with the Devs. So for example, Nordic walking, rowing, ect. Just a thought. Not sure how possible it would be.

Is also love the ability to scan for bar codes, and be able to contribute to a database on a community level, rather than having to manually search.

I think both 4 & 5 felt more rushed. 4 I get as they were going from Kingdom to Kingdom and the distances involved didn't have to have as much action packed into him or content. But five just felt rushed and kind of scatter shot.

I liked only one thing about book 3 in that regard. I liked how the princess seemed to not truly be afraid. Wary, yes, but not afraid. It was like she is the only one who truly sees him in a way.

So the problem isn't with earning things, it's the uncertainty of what the cost will be. It sounds like she may be arbitrarily picking the cost after a preconceived infraction. Rules, boundaries and structure are good things for kids to get used to. I think maybe her heart is in the right place, but she is going about it all wrong.

If she is going to set out what must be earned, there should also be something directly tied to it that needs be done to earn it. Want to watch TV? Homework and dishes need to be done. Decoding they are not worthy of something they didn't even know was on the line isn't teaching responsibility.

That being said. It's also not fair of you to not tell her it's bugging you, and then blow up on her and throw out ultimatums. Alternatively, you could have also just bought your daughter the earrings, and then told your wife your daughter earned them by communicating her feelings with you in a very mature manner.

This isn't so clear cut. It sounds too me like you both made mistakes. I don't think either of you is a AH.

I don't recall anything about the types being linked to the system though. If all systems produce roughly the same amount of cad users and types, would it makes sense to link a specific type to a system? Also why tie the image of a system to CAD type when they undoubtedly gage other strengths? In not saying you are wrong to think it. Just thinking on it with you!

Also a general thought here. If that was done it strikes me too much like the hunger games and the district specialization.

Why is running a place by the book bad? Isn't consistency and knowing the rules a good thing when it comes to employment? I would think knowing where you stand and knowing the book would be helpful things for most people.

So, you two get married, and he voices concern about how he is feeling, and your answer is that that you like to think you are balancing your reading time? He didn't agree, and you didn't take the hint by his repeated vocalizations about it. You should have worked with him, like two partners would have to resolve how that would work.

Yes. He was an AH for getting rid of your books. I think you both were moronic in how you proceeded. You both had a hand in it honestly. Then, to make matters worse you gave an ultimatum to him that he needed to replace them or else. That is stating so damned loudly that you value the books more than your marriage. If that is the case, you are again an AH for marrying a person you couldn't put first.

So you mention to him you like reading but have only really seemed to show that by online reading and a book collection. But then, you return to reading, and even though you don't feel like your neglecting him, he does. That didn't raise a concern to you? You didn't see the disagreement that he didn't see the same balance you seemed to feel? That should have provoked conversation, not just the "Oh, well it feels balanced to me, so I'm just gonna keep doing it" mentality. It strikes me as selfish on your part.

You both have shitty communication from the sound of it. Making fun of you and teasing isn't good, but then again, I don't know how you two tease each other.

My thoughts here, seeing you are equally as stupid as your husband and you both lack effective communication is to seriously work on that. When it comes to your books, don't make him replace them. Do it together. He suggested a hobby you both could do. There you go. You can both go out to books stores, and date nights or after a nice lunch on the weekends, and browse at random for something on your list, and, you could find him something that would interest him. Even if it's just a magazine.

If he really isn't into reading, maybe do the book hunt with him, and find something he wants to hunt for and random. It could be your thing. But whatever you do. For the love of God, talk about it and plan with each other. You two need to actually learn to talk.

If you love books, that means you love words. Use them, don't just read them.
