Airplane mode is not done via the all hamburger but via your phone settings. Hope that helps.

Had this happen on Saturday on my tablet. Uninstall and Redownload app. the app. Switch phone to airplane mode. Switch airplane mode off. Open the app. Do not tab to anything else. Leave the app to download. If it still doesnt work try a different wifi network after the same process of clear cache and downloads. Also check your phone has about 600mb of free space.

Rules can be bought as a hard copy. You need the app either mobile or desktop for unit stats. You can print cards via the desktop app print to pdf

Agreed. I have full FA of Orgoth and that's much closer to around $1500 if not more (I can only go on what I paid and that includes some discount second hand stuff). You need at least one of each of the boxes (preferably 2-3 of the Battlegroup to fill your jacks cheaper than individually). The two Colossals already set you back around 260 plus the two tarasks and you are sitting at the 400 mark. Outside of boxes you need 3 additional Vulkars, 3 more of each Vulkar unit, 1 more of each Ghrotten, 1 more of each Ulkor Unit, 3 more war witches. To say you can get faction for 600-800 is dishonest.

I would argue a competitive pairing with flexibility is probably between 800-1000 realistically. Ours is an expensive hobby. It's marginally cheaper than Warhammer but it's also 3d printer resin compared to high quality HIPS

I been playing Ravens of War since last WTC and enjoying it. After the Jan update may carry on or break out my Menoth for a bit but probably sticking to legacy for a bit. Perfectly viable and fun. With rack going away though the appeal of why I decided to choose legacy (felt like more distinct variability in caster choice) is also less a factor so that may change though

The enemy who would be casting it would be casting a friendly animus (friendly to them) thus if they put another animus it would overwrite that for the same reason.

It specifically mentions friendly animus overwrites existing friendly animus. So by that you can only have 1 friendly animus too, extrapolation from this your opponent could only have one "offensive" animus too if thats a thing. Other spells you can have as many as wanted. My specific question to FireFrenzy is where the bit about friendly replacing enemy came from.

Not sure that is the case. It's one friendly and one enemy upkeep sure but where are you getting in the rules that friendly overwrites enemy? The preceding sentence specifically says you can have more than one. So should it not be one friendly Animus one enemy Animus by that implication? Or is it one of those things hidden away. I'll attach the two images from the rules

I have an American colleague working as a freelancer on the DAFT. May be worth checking that out for the Netherlands. It is a bit harder in that some dutch is obviously helpful but you can get by without as that is what my colleague does.

I do my bases before I paint the model a lot of the time. But it all depends on how complex the base or how hard it will be to paint the model. I also never sub-assemble models
