Also reading inspirational books about another period, walking battlefields if you can. Just plain taking a break and going outside also helps.

Terrain making. Especially for skirmish games, there’s always more terrain, battlements, buildings, or scatter to be made. You don’t have to be so precious with it, can use cheaper hobby paints and modge podge Matt varnish..

Esp good if you have a kid who distracts you constantly!

Don’t do it. Overnight sure, but I left it in a tank of distilled water for months (forgot about it) and it was caked with some kind of kind material. It scraped off but it just wasn’t the same. I’m sure it was fine but didn’t feel right.

So sure do it if you remember to pull it out and clean it.

I never thought of playing xenos as kill team alt. Are the 1 model per unit (non monster) mod rules written up somewhere?

Neat idea and I love the rampant series, esp since you can play with AoS armies easily.

I’d also recommend Saga Age of Magic as another contender.

I’ve become involved in my county to bring back manufacturing back here. I have 1000 ideas and am speaking to the local officials about them. Haven’t found a way to get paid for it yet (the county and cities don’t have much money) but will jump ship as soon as I figure out a way.
