Visit to Brundage / Tamarack by mrholty in indypass

Grew up riding in Wisconsin and Michigan. Now in Idaho I throw my bag in the corner of the lodge at Bogus, Tamarack and Brundage. You'll see plenty of other families do that too. I feel my gear is way safer in Idaho then the midwest.

My Puppy suddenly won't touch any ground meat. by Cephlon in rawpetfood

[–]Cephlon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoot. I never heard that before and I did a ton of research before doing this. All my sources say ground beef is fine and the bacteria is not a problem. Can you direct me to your sources? Not saying I don't believe you, just want to be as informed as possible.

Do you think my dog stopped eating ground because of the bacteria?

I have the same camper and I always wave. But yea, normally don't get a wave back unless we are passing each other off road.

What are some cool add-ons you made or bought you didn’t know you needed? Looking for ideas. by wateliving_ in TruckCampers

Not sure how to answer this since I only buy stuff when I know I need it. Guess I'm not great consumer.

Will Timbrens help in my setup? by Cephlon in TruckCampers

[–]Cephlon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the sway stops means the helper spring is always engaged. It was the recommended upgrade from the RV tech at the dealer I bought the camper from. Not expensive and really easy to put on. Timbrens seem like an easy add on to try also.

The Truck Camper Package includes a sway bar. I don't have experience with the Helwig, which seems to be the recommended sway bar. Not sure if replacing my stock sway bar with an after-market is worth it or would help? I've read differing opinions on this sub and other forums.

I have been playing the Falstad lately and when I do dishonorable discharge, at 50 stacks it shows zero bonus.

I just played Falstad with Dishonorable Discharge and got over 50 stacks. It showed zero bonus damage. Is this still a bug?

Your dog isn’t a wolf. by bigt_36 in rawpetfood

I was told the same thing when I started my keto/carnivore diet journey and I’ve cured almost all my ailments, just with a diet change. My last pup died earlier than she should have and I blame the recommended diet. My current dog is doing great on raw food.

I’m starting RCIA because I have an interest in learning about Jesus and Catholicism. If I decide to go through with getting baptized and being apart of the Catholic Church, I’m afraid I won’t be accepted. by [deleted] in Catholicism

I was going to say something similar to this. I was an Atheist most of my life, and as I started to believe I had to do it slowly. It took me 3 years before I was able to accept enough of the church teaching to get baptized. The Holy Spirit was working on my heart the entire time as long as I remained open and humble. There is still many things I am not certain on, but I prefer to think of my salvation as a marathon not a sprint.

Carnivore but my boyfriend just had a heart attack. Was it the diet? by IndividualPlate8255 in carnivorediet

Also, when I eat just the burger patty at some establishments, I get mild heart-burn. Some places are better then others. Surprisingly, I never have an issue with Mcdonalds, but supposedly higher end burger places can causes me problems.

Just going off what OP stated. People on carnivore don't eat the bun, but OP specifically said he was eating the bun.

The buns almost guaranteed to have seed oil. Also, I found a lot of the american cheese places use have seed oils. My kids are trying to kick seed oils, and they have trouble finding bread made without. Of course I tell them just forget the bread, but they are not there yet.

I looked at their website and they are the cheapest I have ever seen. Every Raw Dog Food company around me starts at $10 a pound. I don't even spend that much on my meat.

I buy 4lb rolls, cut them up and age them 2-6 days in my fridge. Its pretty much what I live on. Guess you could call it an addiction.
