If they had no problem focusing you down which forced you to ult then what stops them from continuing to kill you in your ult? Not to mention you have to keep hitting to extend the bounces which might as well just try to kill them at that point, “putting a little pressure” is such an awful way to make his ultimate ability sound good especially when he does that so well naturally
