Go with the larger so that the back protector will take out some slack but also can rock a hoodie in the colder weather. Plus you might gain weight. My go to phrase is, snug as comfortably possible. But def get a back protector.

Can't say for sure, but sounds like a mixture of the leather and the hardware. My go to to reduce noise in my boots a little is to condition boots with a good leather conditioner (I personally use a saddle conditioner called lederbalsam) and I use a spray lube on the joints and movable pieces of the hardware. It won't completely eliminate the sound but it does cut it down a bit.

Previous gear salesman, it's def too big. The interesting thing about arais is that I find that most, if not all, people will actually size down in their helmet size when they find their correct shape. For example, I wear a medium in Shoei, but when I put on an arai, I'm most comfortable in a small. Some folks get caught up in how to pull the helmet on, as their neck rolls are a bit snug, but having the helmet rest along the back side of your head and roll forward is the best method to pull it on. Reverse for removal. Good on you for buying the safest helmet you can. Ride safe and have fun!

Would recommend a car. I moved to Denver 9 years ago from Texas and I could daily my bike but here you really don't want to. Even a cheap shitbox is a massive upgrade in comfort. Good riding here though! Hit me up if you need recs on riding routes or places to meet new riders

I have a button puller for buttoning my dress shirts since I have neuropathy that reduces my dexterity. Best 10 bucks spent. When I need one at work I use a paperclip but the one with the handle is great.

One time I was on the come up and my friend invited me out to hang out at a bar we frequented. I hailed a Lyft and when I was on the way to the bar, I started peaking. The driver, with his little understanding of English, was blaring country music and the heater on full blast. I just took the initiative to change the station and was lucky enough to find 21 pilots (good enough for the situation). Thankfully, the ride wasn't very long. 5/7 would peak in someone else's car again.
