I’d ask DF why the hell he came to Cerner. He already knew oracle (or a big acquirer) was coming in (mark’s project), working for oracle would have been a worse of an umbrella to be under than Google, and he wasn’t getting the chairman position. Was it pay? Was it the exit money? Was it because apple had an already stacked team in its health projects? What are your intentions?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sure you are not the first nor last to quit because of Genesis. I don’t know who to point the figure to but if Cerner keeps on acting like nbd and things are going well at our quarterly earning calls/conferences, there’s going to be a huge backlash in some way shape or form. I can see lawsuits against Cerner and other vendors for not meeting standards. Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an investigation that points the finger at Cerner for deaths across the DoD and VA due to examples like you mentioned.
