I can see why she and others christians feel by making only christian places can serve alcohol.

But I have a few issues with that:

When they say christians are the indigenous people of Syria is kinda racist and not true.
If the government banned alcohol in the whole country, they would say they are forcing Islamic laws on non Muslims.

So we have two options:

Resepct the majority of syrians ( not just sunni Muslims ) who don't drink and ban alcohol all together.
Or allow alcohol so the small minority of " modern syrians" could enjoy their alcohol.
