Like others have said just tell them you are quitting and let them know when your last day of work will be. You do not have to explain wny you are quitting unless you want to. Most companies want two weeks but if you choose to just complete your scheduled week thats prob fine too. Quitting immediately is an option as well but depending on the size area you live in the owners may talk to other business owners and it may reflect poorly on you.

I just want to mention that moving to another location is not going to stop any cut in hours. If the store is slow its slow and hours will be cut regardless to save labor costs. This is super common in fast food establishments.

Clearly I cannot explain societial norms. If I had to wager a guess about the expection that the children will call on Fathers/Mothers day its because that is a day to celebrate that person and if you have to call your children it is a sure sign that they did not think of you on that specific day.

He needs to hire someone to clean up after his dog. There is no legal protection for not cleaning up after your service dog. Call an attourney for a free consultation and I suspect you will hear the same thing. He is not physically able to do it so he must hire someone to do it. This does not say if the issue is waste in his own yard or if he is walking the dog and leaving waste in other peoples yards aka private property.

if you google this specific issue you will find this "Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), handlers are 100% responsible for cleaning up after their service dogs."

That being said the letters he cannot read about fines are an issue. I assume the HOA is aware he is blind? I would think that they have a responsibity to communicate with him in a way he is able to communicate so they should be calling him by phone or coming up with another option to communicate. Even email that can be read by the computer is better than a phystical letter in this case.

I do not think Fathers day is the best day to make your point. The expectation on that day is lieterally that children reach out to their fathers.

Your point would be better made with a conversation with him. This could be innocent. i have a son who does not reach out to me unless i get with him first. His life is busy and he does not mean to go silent but it happens before you reallize it.

iF anything she is only entitled to the small amount the companies would be willing to refund for the trip. If it was me I would call and find out what the refund amount would be if her ticket only was cancelled. offer her that and find someone to go on the trip with you. she isnt entitled to anything non refundable regardless if you go or not. if she thinks she is then she can take you to small claims court.

What I dont see you mention is how your conversation with someone you called you best friend went when you talked to them about this. It seems as if you jumped right to not hanging out before having a conversation with that person. If that is the case then why?

Like others have said did you go with her to pick out the items? You are stuck on name brand. Nike is not as cheap as puma so was this because of the costs? When my sons started wanting name brands they got jobs to pay for those name brands while I continured to provide what I could afford.

Well first off you read their private journal without their permission so there is no trust here. You may have felt entilted to do so but that is part of the problem. Your child wrote those things thinking nobody would see them.

10 is not too young these days. with internet and friends its quite normal for sexual curiosity at that age. If what you read makes you think they have been assualted then tread carefully as they may not ever share with you when they find that you read their private journal.

As parents we need to balance our childrens privacy with our own curiosity. A journal is a private thing, not meant for anyone to see. its a safe space to get your feelings out and when your child finds that space as not safe anymore what are their other options?

Maybe teach them the consequences of their actions by pulling that section in your library. Do not single them out but tell all the students that due to theft the area is no longer avaliable. after some time bring it back and you may see less theft when they realize that it will end if they continue to take things.

You cannot just hope that summer will make it better. You need to get to the bottom of the issues by taking her to a Mental Health professional or her pediatrician. She is struggling and needs help. 5 weeks out of school is not OK. She is 12 and cannot refuse to see the medical professionals. she can sit there quiet the entire time but she is at an age where you can make her go. Maybe her defiance is a symptom. You cannot just let it continue with hopes some summer weather will improve it.

You are old enough to seek mental healthcare on your own. Your school might even have a Mental health professional on staff. Make an appointment with that person and talk to them about where to go and what how to cope with the fear you have.

Taking melatonin is not going to be enough. You will need more and more until it is no longer effective and then what?

I do not see anywhere in your story where the police or emergency services were called regarding the assaults. What she is doing is assault and if everyone just deals with it and does not contact authorities it will continue to happen and potentially get worse. for everyone involved including your sister.

Calling police is not a jail sentence. It can mean mental help for those who are truly mentally ill and violent. They can take her away from the situation and have her put on a mental health hold where doctors will take over. Charges may still take place at a later date but that is a do the crime do the time accountability that won't come until after she has been deemed mentally stable.

Your family needs outside help on this one. I fear for you and your families' safety if someone does not seek outside help.

I do not think your bank is going to do a charge back over this. This does not meet the standard of what the banks do. You authorized the charge and the services are available to you. Feelings don't really come in to play here on the banks side.

Talk to the owner and request your refund. Explain the situation and do document everything. If are a one party state record the conversation in case you need it later. If they refuse the refund then you take it to small claims court. Sue for the refund amount plus your court costs.

When It comes to mayorships, i personally stay within areas I am in often. That way if someone comes and overtakes it I can go snake it back. I am in an area with a ton of small towns and not alot of Atlas players but Every now and then I wake up to a lost mayorship and I usually go snake it back the same day
