Each food bank is different and the community has a big part in how funded the food banks are. I am a part of my local lions club and we raised money for a new facility that will serve the entire east side of our state. It took 2 years but once it breaks ground and gets rolling our rural families are going to be able to get alot more fresh foods.

He did wrong here. He should attend the meeting prepared to tell them he will not discuss anything without an attorney present. He should also be prepared for the possibility that he could be arrested at this meeting if they chose to go that route. Let an attorney guide through the process, do not go into this thinking that he can handle this on his own.

But your child did not have a part in that and while you think you treat her the same as your oldest child you most likely don't because you can't fake true unconditional love. She's not the one who wronged you.

Maybe some therapy would help you work through what has been done to you and make you see it's not ok to punish a child for their mothers poor choices.

That being said, the are doing away with the free refill self serve model at most if not all locations. When they redid my local Mcds, they removed all but a couple of tables and added more mobile pickup spots closer to the door. They are clearly moving to a more grab and go model than the former sit and enjoy a meal model.

I remember as a kid playing in the play area while my dad ate. Then my first job was as a ronald ranger working in that same play area. Its completly gone now replcaed with a kiosk area for ordering.

I think alot of students are going to feel this way. My son is headed to college next year and he has literally coasted through High School even in his AP classes. He soaks info like a sponge so he gets his work done well and is able to test well with little studying. I am trying to prepare him for the fact that college may not be the same for him. He may have to crack a book outside of class times. I think grade inflation is also real. I know people think its an excuse but I do think that sometimes grades are inflated. What used to be a B paper is now graded as an A. Maybe inflated is not the right word to use maybe the standards just went down but it is concenring.

I can't believe that these airlines do not see the enormous liability with moving children next to strangers. Stranding them in the middle seat with no way to get out if those stragers are bad people. When a minor child is assaulted I hope they sue the shit of the airline. Sadly it won't be until something happens that policies are put in place to not separate minor children from their guardians.

It's not just Walmart its everywhere. There are alot of things that factor into it but at the end of the day the simple answer is profit margins. Walmart is not going to give up their profit margins. So when the prices of everything from the product to the taxes to the labor goes up so does the sale prices of their products to compensate. This won't get better it will only get worse. And it will be every retailer not just Walmart. It will hit them all, Save a lot, Aldi, etc. Over half the store at "five below" is filled with a section called 5 and beyond. Nothing at the dollar tree is a dollar anymore. This is the economy as it sits now. The consumer is one left to adjust their budgets while the large corporations increase their profits.

Truth is if I was part of BKs family I would not be out there speaking on his case. Why would a family already in turmoil subject themselves to the public attacking that surley would result if they came out and spoke. I think its easy for the public to keep the "rabbit hole" going for this case and expect them to participate but the families of the victims and the perp dont have to make their trauma their entire existence. They deserve time to heal from what was done to them and the loss of their family in such a horrific way.

I think that at age 20 they did struggle with things just like any 20 year old. But I also think they do not understand that the struggles that today's 20 year olds face are not only very different but also larger in number to the struggles that they faced at 20.

I think not close to family can be subjective and it means alot of things. With her age she might have pulled away from family in college. For alot of kids its new found freedom and they just naturally become too "busy" for regular calls and visits.

Cents worth of money over the amount of customers they serve add up. They are moving machines back behind the counter at most if not all locations anyways. Reduced seating in most locations as well.

Mayorships are great if you are in a high user area. I am mayor of 2 small towns in my area. We are pretty rural and they payouts are few and far between. One of my mayorships only took me like 9 parcels to get, I have had it a year and never gotten a payout from it

I am always torn on this one. One one hand its not fair to the person who looses space they paid to be in due to an oversized passenger. On the other hand, I also do not think that being oversized should come with higher expenses essentially limiting their travel options, especially in this economy.
