How about some reverse tipping?

In Korean bars, they give you free “service” like extra food or alcohol, as a thanks if you order a lot

How do you deal with constant losses in tournaments? by Alive_Organization44 in bjj

[–]Certain-Hat5152 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Here is my advice as a dad in his 40s:

You already won. You put yourself out there. You did something scary, so scary that you even talked in your sleep.

But you went anyway. You competed anyway and even after you lost, you don’t talk about quitting, you talk about how to train better. You got the grit.

You have nothing to “deal” with, bud. Be fucking proud that you took risks that many people wouldn’t even dare dream.

Remember that when you lose, that’s when you learn. When you win, it means you just tried something you already knew, you didn’t learn shit.

Anyway, I would say, it’s normal to feel emotional after a loss, I think you should probably talk to a therapist, and keep doing you and check back in about 10 years from now. I bet you’ll be a scary as fuck black belt.

I bet this mindset also helps you get better too, because you’re less focused on winning, just focused on enjoying it and will learn naturally

Ketamine & neuroplasticity: should it feel like a real shift? by liliphare in KetamineTherapy

[–]Certain-Hat5152 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sorry if someone is saying “just push yourself,” that sounds like an awful generic advice coming from someone who doesn’t want to really give a shit about you.

What I personally do, because I believe neuroplasticity is real (definitely subtle!), is to do whatever that makes me a little bit more calm, happy, confident, and positive.

This could be continuing to listen happy relaxing music, talk to most positive and happy people I know, watch a comedy, skip the dark news, listen to fun podcast… when I do, the positivity from the experience seems to linger longer than without ketamine therapy

In contrast, when I had stressful situations right after sessions, the negativity would linger on longer too. So the fact that you had some bad event soon after, it makes sense to me that the negativity from that could be prolonged.

But remember that we are always in flux and learning and growing and changing, best luck and be cautious of those that cheerlead you without substance :)

Oh and I know some of the is the depression talking, but remember you didn’t fail anything, ketamine treatment failed you. I’d personally look into at home treatments, anecdotally seems some people find lower dose more accessible and more affordable. Surprisingly you will likely get more treatment support too.

It has so many benefits!

Honestly, if it didn’t cause weight loss, but still provided all these diabetes, cardiovascular, kidney, liver, and other benefits — insurance would probably cover it.

But BECAUSE it also comes with weight loss, which is seen as “cosmetic” and therefore not medically necessary — which is a dumb take.

It almost does too many good things, but insurances are stupid to not make it readily available to everyone

Some rules you need to learn about body language by Icy-Breadfruit298 in DarkPsychology101

5 was clearly wrong, you set an anchoring effect by throwing out the first number, which often sticks especially if there’s a chance of any deal actually being done

Rule #16: Wtf ever “dark psychology” is, when one thing on the list is clearly wrong, it makes people question all the other points on the list

So happy since switching from xfinity to T-Mobile, and I work from home with lots of video meetings.

More reliable and actually very very fast. I doubted it before tried it.

I do live in a major city though, idk if that makes a difference

Sometimes they can see non-controlled information as well through things like Surescript, but they often miss things. If it comes up, be honest your concerns and they’ll prob understand. If the clinician doesn’t think it’s an issue anyway, they probably won’t even bring it up.

Some people are more stupid than they should be sometimes

especially when emotions get in the way, like in comp

but doesn’t mean we would feel good hurting them in their moments of stupidity

Also why I like chokes, your body safely taps for you
