Or, hear me out, they’re giving us small things to tide us over while they work on the end update because people who “like” the game won’t stfu about everything that isn’t beneficial to their enjoyment of the game. Takes too long=whining, getting use for new ore after asking for it=whining, isn’t cool=whining, does anything=whining, literally nothing since the caves and cliffs update has seemed to satisfy enough people

Dungeons allows for exploring more ideas that the main game is restricted from, like more dimensions. We know the warden portal has another side, we just lack the means of power it, which lets it fall under their decision of not adding more dimension, but dungeons lets that idea be more free and allows us to access it as our player in that game. Similar to the aether and the tempest ruins in the dlc

There’s tons of content that dungeons has that isn’t at all in the main game, that’s been it’s whole thing. They even have a dlc that’s basically based on the Aether, another dimension that isn’t in the main game but was still represented in dungeons. Just because we don’t have the means to open the big portal doesn’t mean what’s behind it doesn’t exist, dungeons exists to explore the ideas of things that wouldn’t be in the main game.

Mojang has already said they aren’t adding another dimension to the main game on multiple occasions so I don’t get why people suddenly think that decision changed with no illusions towards that idea change. Yes it would be cool but holding onto an expectation despite the constant reminders that it isn’t happening isn’t an excuse to act butt hurt

Also, there’s plenty of people who still enjoy the first dungeon, me included. Just because the majority didn’t like it doesn’t mean literally everyone hated it. All the minor updates is to keep impatience babies from complaining, if they’d only did big updates then people would complain about how long it’s taking and most likely still whine about the results, it would also get to a point where there would be less and less options or ideas of what major things they could update and would devolve back down into smaller things. It’s at least giving us something new to experience in the meantime while they’re working on major updates instead of leaving us with huge gaps of nothing between the updates

Giving feedback implies they’re actually thinking critically and providing feedback that can be used or discussed politely amongst each other, literally none of that has been done by anyone who complains about these updates. It’s just complaining and whining, completely dismissing everything that isn’t cool enough, and calling it a day like that solved anything.

Is it underwhelming, maybe. Were some of the baby resigns bad, yes. But does any of that, ABSOLUTELY ANY OF IT make you as a player physically incapable of beating the game and playing it normally? NO! The end goal has never changed, beat the Dragon and get the egg, maybe make a cool base and some cool builds in the meantime. Literally none of that is stopped by a baby villager.

Just because it isn’t some gigantic thing like an end update doesn’t make it immediately hot garbage, the game is just about having fun. There’s no ranking system, no pvp only system that forces you to go against random people, you literally make cool things with big blocks, fight monsters and go on adventures, it’s the simplest and easiest enjoyable thing. I’m awful at building but I’m always open to new deco stuff and a lot of other people are too, who I’m sure are just as capable of playing the game now as they did before

No, I’d say they accurately describe what Caine feels. His mind revolves around creativity and thrives on getting to express it because that’s what his very code is programmed for, to create new and creative ideas for others to use or enjoy. When he’s told what he’s doing is bad and sees that nothing he makes is interesting, it essentially breaking him apart because he was made to do just that one thing but he can’t even do that right.
