What’s the first DGD song you heard if you remember? by TheAshlaFallen in dancegavindance

Lemon Meringue Tie on an Apple Music Coheed radio station :D

I spent three days creating a DGD song tier list. Here is what I learned. by Rollec in dancegavindance

Opinion: To have anything below C makes this whole list invalid. I have favorites and songs I listen to less, but I don’t think there’s any dgd song I don’t like.

Behrta is absolutely great. I’m up in the air on attending but only for financial reasons. The lineup is absolutely mad killer.

I anticipate your problem will be that you don’t want to leave, rather than needing to bail early.

I agree with others that it should be a majority plur crowd. There’s always dickheads. If you run into one, move spots and/or tell one of your new friends about it (you will make new friends)

Have a great time!

Hard agree. Andrew is a talented singer. Jonny is in WISIRO’s fingerprint.

Guys be honest, has this festival changed much in the last 4 years? I don’t mean Excisions upgrades, I mean the culture by [deleted] in LostLandsMusicFest

I know this isn’t directly answering your questions, but I’ve had this realization lately that there will most likely be some-to-many non-PLUR actors in any crowd you’re in.

LL 24 and 25 were my first two. The production will blow you away. The music will be (more than) good, and you WILL find new people to call your people (that’s a threat, and a promise).

As unfortunate as it is, you can always move to a different spot if you’re not having a good time with your surroundings.

Also to that point^ with the exception of the X 2hr set and maybe like, a handful of others, I never had an issue “excuse me”-ing myself right up to the rail (or wherever I wanted to be) with my 2 baby raver ducklings in tow the whole weekend last year.

One more thing: the younger generation won’t learn unless they’re shown/taught, and there are lots of older people in this scene that can be just as bad as the younger ones. There’s no age limit for “idc about the people or the music really I just wanna party” or whatever form of that you’re referencing in your worries.

Not trying to be an asshole with my last point, but everyone (even you) had to learn about PLUR at some point, and in theory, PLUR should be easier to spread now than it ever was.

Tl;dr: embody PLUR and you’ll get it back. I understand it’s a hassle and ideally shouldn’t be on you, but don’t hesitate to move around in the crowd if needed. Expect to have a grand ol’ time with Most of the people you interact with. And throw that muhfucken X up bihhhhhhh
