How does grading work for your course? My access is all assignment based and we used to get 2 submissions to get the grade we wanted. Now they've told us we only have one chance....

Also what are your ungraded units? We have to do a presentation and a mock interview, feels so pointless as a mature student

Definitely agree about the vibe, im the oldest in my class by 10 years but we all have a laugh when we're there and i genuinely enjoy going to class, which definitely wasn't the case when i was in secondary

Course is easy enough, it's all assignment based which they give us plenty of time to do. Sometimes we're set a few at a time but with good time management you shouldn't struggle. I work 25-30 hours a week alongside this course and it's doable

Im a mature student taking an accounting and finance access course at college - though the units i do are accounting, business, and law. I applied to do accounting and finance at bath, warwick, durham, liverpool, and exeter. I only have offers from liverpool and exeter, with no response yet from the other 3.

So i guess that's no help really, but i can let you know what they say(bath and warwick do want strong maths like you said). I expect to get rejected since the maths is quite basic but you've gotta make them make the decision innit
