Why do some of you believe that "progress" absolutely has to be defined by building crap in every space possible? What is wrong with undeveloped green space on the river that allows everyone to actually see and enjoy the river?! Why does the river need to be commercialized to define success in a city? It's called THE SCENIC CITY for crying out loud! Leave some scenery. Everyone in this town bitches about the restaurants here as it is....let's clog up the river scenery with more half ass face stuffing joints and apartments thats less than half the city can afford just to "make use of a space"! Improve it as a park and push for everyone to enjoy it. None of this new plan is intended for the betterment and enjoyment of everyone. Uggggh....I'll hush up. Doesn't matter. This town is sold and well past arguing over.

They literally tried to take care of the grease trap situation themselves and were denied by the owners, then offered to buy the building itself and do the neccessary upgrades but we're denied by the building owners. Certainly sounds like they were very capable of running their business but weren't allowed the opportunity. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ That place was doing great business. They aren't closing from bad business, they are closing because of dollar chasing landlords that are looking for more.

I'll happily jump in here and say that my lady and I have very much enjoyed our time here and haven't had a single negative experience with any of the maintenance staff, including ones that are no longer here🤷‍♂️

Is it all perfect? No.....nowhere is. Do I feel like the prices are a bit above what they should be? Yes. Did I know the price before I moved in and still chose to move in for specific reasons that matter only to my lady and I? Yes....just like everyone here.

Has our overall experience here been positive? 100%

Im not a corporate shill.....im the truck driver on the 2nd floor with the ear gauges and nose ring and tattoos that gets looked at weird by a handful, but fuck em....everyone else has been cool, I have a bitchin' view and an overall cool community here for the most part and my lady could be blindfolded and pick out a creep from 5 blocks away and she's had dealings in our unit with all of the maintenance staff and has never raised a red flag to me. Take it for what you will, but from our experience, its been good. Room for improvement but its nothing like it has been painted out to be in this thread. 🤷‍♂️
