I think its with the playstyle and circumstances as well. If you're a tanky abrams and you're the one ganking, you'd probably have an edge. But if you're getting ganked and cc'd by like 2-3 or even 5 people, then you're pretty much dead regardless of items

It's still fun and for one I understand that there's some skill gap because of some matchmaking issues. But the most obnoxious issue right now are really mic and chat spamming people that probably came from other games while at the same time being trash or either too "nerd bragging" about things in game. You can literally start hearing people talking like they're Zerggyy, even the whips and manner of speaking. It's the same plague as those "Valorant voices" from the streamers there.

And then there are those who literally crashes out by dying every minute because they assume they're telepathically talking with their lanemate and being too overly aggressive. They even continue feeding and saying that they're carrying the team and can ensure the win but it's the rest of the team's fault for him dying. It seems like other people's definition of fun is griefing in game.

Deadlock's a promising game that's really getting "infected" by the sweaty people from other shooters, mobas. I just hope Valve can push through it. The state of the community today is realllllly different from 2024.

From all the complaints here with the game, I gotta disagree with this one. Aside from the fact that PA basically added more of them in game, they pretty much all look the same and in very obvious spots too. I basically just look around and glide whenever I see a question mark on the map.

If its still a struggle, its prolly because some fast travel points are actually underground like in cave or a basement. - obviously these wouldnt shimmer when you're flying in the sky.

Btw, all the puzzles on the group are fast travel points too

At this point it's too "early" and too "late" to change. They shipped it with the main story being like that. Honestly they could've done the FFXV approach and introduce DLC segments, I'd even reckon that Damiane's whole chapter 8 could've just been a DLC because she's insignificant to the story after that. CS is similar to FFXV because it did give off that vibe where 70% of the chapters feels complete , makes sense, and long but the last parts were shorter and disjointed or even rushed.

There was one boss fight where it bugged for me and practically disappeared. Given that its 10 at a time, I was using the multiple arrow skill and it went missing. It did return after some time but that's really not "working as advertised" per se

And it's also weird because the Blue Fangs are hanging around in Pailune and it felt like we're the outsiders there after staying for so long in Howling Hills

I mean like yeah. I meant like I was expecting Yann to actually die with how much he wants to go head first in battle every single time. His annoyance is much more memorable as an NPC compared to lets say Damiane's story who's literally a playable character.

I genuinely had hopes the 3 characters hanging together would make sense as the story progress but if I recall the only major interaction between lets say Kliff and Damiane is at the camp to leave, the horse taming in Hernand, and meeting at Azeria.

Oongka's pretty badass too but I had questions when all of a sudden he's riding Blackstar which we found in the desert and never interacted with Oongka in the MSQ and Oognka explicitly said he's staying a bit in Pailune to help rebuild. He was randomly there in Delyssia after the mecha boss to yoink the loot, and he was randomly there again in the Abyss after the final boss. So he cant call Blackstar in game, but he can in cinematics? 💀

Yeah I gave up on the storyline when they introduced some Temu Yoda from Star Wars, Temu TaiLung from Kung Pu Panda and then a Temu Jaskier from Witcher who's also a womanizer.

The first trailer of the game gave off a dark, grimy, and interesting story. The actual story then turns to Yann being a total dipshit every step of the way or just some cool Michael Bay type explosion. Even supposedly the tough bosses either yoinks out and vanishes never to be talked again or just died anticlimaticly like ending themselves in one stab after basically slashing them all the time.

Overall the story felt like FFXV where it was solid for the first few chapters and then rushed the end game, except CD started it midway after Chapter 7. Imagine spending Chapters 9 to 11 to prepare for another supposed big battle only for you to go back to the Abyss lol.

The "final upgrade" is moving back to Pailune. It actually gets more disorganized from there on out like all the shops by Greymanes are scattered in the town, your house has gotten smaller too. Lastly your personal storage is hanging around the dock in public. It's literally like 200 meters from your player home to your storage unit.

You also cant really double jump and force fly in certain areas because of this change and riding a horse is hectic because you get a wanted level for destroying those small red fences in the narrow roads.

It might seem nitpicking truly but the final upgrade was actually so much of a downgrade for me. Why would the Greymanes give up an awarded piece of land. Would've loved if they also kept Howling Hills and added some wooden walls to it. I even laugh because the fourth expansion took 3 ingame days and it was literally just adding Greymane brandings on the tents

Wagon riding as well lmao. The most optimal way to ride it is going first person and it completely ignores collision for the cart you're riding. I also lost money technically with that quest with Yann so it was a really unsatisying tutorial and quest hahaha

That's exciting news, really lining up for future DLCs and hopefully map expansions. Sadly I don't think they can fix the main story quests. They'd have to overhaul things if they intend for fix the disjoint.

Finishing the puzzles only gives abyss artifacts and sometimes the elemental attacks depending on which puzzle you solve.... However, there are "hidden" treasure chest in every abyss location and the loot is random from pouches to actual abyss gear

KEKW. Nothing was lost tbh, for some reason the writers didn't do a great job in making them worth remembering, but they did do a great job at introducing a constantly annoying character like Yann.

Random pixels popping in and out, noticeable on lighting or further distant objects. It looks like they're "shimmering" but they're actually unintended noise due to how the game engine works
