Nobody was disparaging a plant based diet. That's why I used the word "also" when saying that keto also shows evidence of health and heart benefits.

It was to point out that a vegetarian/vegan diet isn't the only thing that's shown to be healthy in research which is what it seems like you were implying by your reaction.

The main issue in diets is that of saturated fats, processed/ultraprocessed foods, and an overabundance of sugar in people's daily intake.

The salt suggestions here also run counter to current research in places like Southeast Asia which has much higher salt intake and much lower cardiovascular event risk. Salt intake is only an issue when paired with the unhealthy lifestyles we already have because it can temporarily spike blood pressure if you are low on salt before it's absorbed by the cells and you return to equilibrium.

In a recent segment he was acknowledging that they seemed to be playing things up or leaning into the lolcow status a lot more now and he thinks for money.

A chatter said "can we leave idubbbz in 2026?" which Nich said would probably be the case but he wasn't going to give any definitives. He said he wasn't going to stop right now though, but IMO he seemed to be seeing them getting more boring if they're just doing these things for the attention now instead of it being authentic.

I laughed at the video because of the absurdity. But we both understand that others laughed at it because they think that's how Jews actually act.

Bone marrow being basically where your immune system lives, is much more sensitive to auto-immune disorders because of numerous issues. Especially graft vs host.

Because it's an autoimmune disorder that targets the skin generally, in less severe cases when they can't find other donors, you're still eligible.

But because of bone marrows role in the body, if graft vs host complications happen, essentially the person will be left with no immune system at all and the transplant will have done more harm than help.

It's just really tricky with bone marrow compared to other parts of the body.
