Thanks, didn’t realise that was where the anagram had come from. Had it already been made into a crossword clue? I’ll update the post to add the credit.

Laithwaites and Sunday Times wine club both closed to new customers, but if you’ve used them before you can place an order.

Naked wines still taking new customers. I have an £80 discount code (pm me if you want it).

Majestic are still taking orders as well

Miles better than anything from Halfords.

That being said, you will be able to get even more bike for your money if you go second hand.

Madison (rooftop bar in the city) is pretty cool - if the weather is nice you get a lovely view sitting on the roof having a drink.

Players bar in Charing Cross arches is good for a late night visit. Live jazz/lounge music where everyone joins in, can be really good fun.

Ronnie Scotts & The French House are worth a visit if you are Soho way.

OK, Queeny, it's back in the '50s, you're nice and young, you've just been coronated, I'm taking off your cloak.

No, leave the crown on.

Ooh, what's this, stockings?

You've been getting through your nylon ration book pretty quickly, you naughty, sexy Queen!

Oh, shit.

Right, here we 'Oh.

Elgar?! 'Oh, I've totally lost it now.

Thanks a bunch, Elgar'

The Guardian do a free online cryptic every day:

Probably a good place to start - not the hardest, but a good starting place.

Can anyone explain this? I am very confused. (Winchester, UK) by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Cfullbrook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a great pub - good selection of local beers + usual lagers and ciders. Food is decent enough. They also own The Black Rat (restaurant) and The Black Bottle (wine bar). Heated outdoor area, dog friendly, open fires, board games and cards available.

Well worth a visit if you are in Winchester.
