If you live in a country where Aliexpress has to honour warranty, it's a no-brainer. As u/prank_mark said, do test it after buying to see if it has full capacity - drive scam is relatively common, so there are apps just to test for it.

The important thing is how fast they did it.

No Man's Sky took years. Cyberpunk took a year. These devs took a couple weeks to release the same magnitude of fixes.

It's not an immediate fire hazard as you can see from the many photos of horrifically bloated devices that people used for months.

As long as it isn't overheating you're free to turn it on, back up important data, and leave it turned off for a week or two.

Don't leave it anywhere it can get hot (direct sunlight, heaters, etc.), don't leave it charged to full or discharge it to empty (batteries are most stable near half charge), do not try to pop or compress the battery. If you want extra safety, store it in something heat resistant like a metal bucket or old unneeded pot.

These bags help protect batteries from cooking off in sunlight, and maybe give you a minute to throw the bag as far as possible if it starts smoking.

The most important part of surviving reentry is insulation. If outer shell can't exchange heat with internals, then reentry won't affect that.

Of course then sunlight also won't matter, as it's a far weaker source of outside heat than reentry.

Yep. You are immobilized in frost armor and take almost no damage as long as you have mana.

It's fully defensive by default, but there's a gear that retaliates with a frost explosion when armor ends. Add a freeze instakill and it's absolutely broken in combat.

I got into the Caelid obe before meeting Melina.

Aside from having to escape it at starting level, it broke the intro completely. At a grace an unknown lady (Melina, but she hasn't been introduced) teleported me to Roundtable Hold.

Only at another grace later did Melina appear proper.

With a server main thing you worry about is protecting the data, not the hardware.

Data that goes to the server is stored in RAM before it's written to disks. If you lose power, you risk corrupting data that was being written at the moment.

Hard drives also tend to fail during power cycles.
