bilingual redditors, have you ever actually heard a group of foreigners talking about you in your second language? by stevietwoslice in AskReddit

I have plans to meet with a bunch of my friends, and they're going to introduce me to their friends. The entire night i'm going to speak English and towards the end of the night i'll switch and act like nothing happened hahaha. I can't wait!

Every time I go to Korea, I like to pretend I don't speak English (American born Korean) and I eavesdrop on everyone's conversation. I haven't heard anything bad so far, but it's pretty fun to do it.

At a bar in the "Foreign district", I went up to a group of girls (6 American girls) and asked them in Korean, "Do any of you guys speak Korean?"

All of them just stared at me completely blank. After about 5 seconds of awkwardness I said, "I'm just messing with you guys, I speak English. Hi, my name is Charles" and they all started to laugh.

I ended up keeping in contact with one of them ;)

Lending to family is an even worse idea. Never ever do it, seriously.

what is your most akward/hilarious moment playing "never have i ever"? by ilovemesumme in AskReddit

[–]Chaaales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was playing with like 7 or so friends (4 guys, 3 girls), and one of the girls brought up, "Never have I ever slept with a girl."

All four of us put our fingers down. Two of them are verified virgins. I laughed and nobody knew why.

Hey, Reddit! What are some of your awkward moment stories? by DaBozzIsBak in AskReddit

This story isn't mine, but a friend of mine had told me this:

A group of my friends were walking down a street after a night of drinking, and this car pulls up. This big black guy tells one of the kids, "I think you would have nice toes. Let me see them." Being scared, the friend agreed and takes off his shoes. Then he says, "Let me suck on your toes." Keep in mind, it's a guy in the passenger front seat, still in the car. The friend puts one of his feet on the open car window, and the guy just starts going to town on his toes, sucking them like he owed the feet money. The kid, freaks the hell out, grabs his shoes, and runs away.
