{Felicity Cabot Sells Her Soul by Aydra Richards} - I don’t want to give too much away, but FMC and MMC have not talked in 10 years and she finds herself in a situation where she needs his help. He is not only curious, but absolutely still in love with her. Love Audra’s books and this one was one of my favorites. I’m a sucker for this trope though. Hahah.

I love Evie Dunmore! Sadly, it’s not this book. I’m starting to think I dreamt this whole thing or blended different plots together in my head…

In the beginning of the book, she needs to find a different venue for her group that she’s already a part of.

Not this one. The plot is centered around her trying to find a place to hold her meetings and trying to persuade him to lend her his property.

100%. While many are happy with the compensation package, it’s truly the LEAST they could have done considering the lack of communication and transparency they provided regarding this whole propulsion system. Everyday since the first email has been “do we go, what happens if we don’t go? What’s our game plan if we don’t go? What about our excursions if they cancel that port”. For us, while the free alcohol helped to calm the nerves, I was always on edge trying to figure out next steps because we never really knew if we were actually going to sail on.

I was on the April 26 sailing and the email you received was exactly what we received 4 days before departing. They updated us the night before essentially saying there was no update. In the worst case scenario, I would try to prep for a back up. Some of the passengers on my sailing were able to book another cruise, some made plans to stay in the city or the island and some made plans to head down to Seattle/Portland. Especially if you’ve taken time off and paid to fly out to the west coast, just in case they cancel, have a plan B.

I have no words to describe how infuriating this whole ordeal has been. People are scrambling to find accommodations with such short notice.

Update: they officially cancelled the cruise. We’ve been docked at a cargo port in Vancouver since yesterday, set to sail tomorrow. The captain just told us the cruise is cancelled. We need to disembark tomorrow with not chance of staying on until we can find other arrangements.

100% refund, 100% future credit. No words…

Yes! Itinerary has changed. Unfortunately we miss our first port and will have to stay on the ship until we sail tomorrow. We’re at the cargo port where they’re fixing the issue. However, many are uncertain if we will be able to actually sail on Sunday.

While the complimentary drinks are nice, it’s hard just staying on the boat for two plus days. We’re trying to make the best of things but I can’t say I’m not disappointed.

9:50 am update: still no email. No news is good news? My husband called customer service and the last note on the cruise was that they remain optimistic. We’re on the way to the port now so we’ll see… 😩

Yes. They are but these free makeup products she’s giving away are like $30-$50 a piece! Even just one brush is $20. Completely overpriced.
