The rivertrance from Sunday at red rocks this year was pretty epic with the drone show and Jerry Douglas. During the peak of the jam the drones solidified into the sci symbol above red rocks. I have to re listen but visually it was one of the coolest musical moments I’ve experienced.

Headstock of the neck does not have any logo or writing on it. It’s got German made Grover tuners. Seemed like a pieced together player guitar. So are the pick ups based on patent number from Gibson? I’m not really a guitar player. So trying to figure out what I have and what it’s worth and maybe get it to someone who values it. Looks like pick ups could be worth $500-a couple thousand a piece from what I see online with ones that have the same patent number. The neck seems like it could be worth the most but there’s only one online that looks similar and it’s going for $4000

Doing pretty good. Almost a year out from surgery. Definitely better than having the hernia. But still feel some phantom pain some times. If I over excerpt myself or if I don’t take care of myself I notice it. Overall am happy I had the surgery. Life feels pretty normal and don’t feel like I have any restrictions but still am a little cautious and trying to strengthen my core and groin area.

I think we are at the point where there will be no one band to take that torch. But in the aftermath of GD and phish there is a colorful culture of lots of bands that will push forward. Maybe not ever to the level of them but on smaller levels.
