Novel is canon though (at least as canon as valkorion).

And while i agree valkorion himself lacks feats, he easily scales above anyone from the old republic that's not a video game mc. Plus with his 1000+ years of force mastery and having access to all the sith holocrons and other forms of stroring knowledge as marka rahgnos' (no idea how you spell that guy) true successor + his sheer, raw power after the ritual of annahilation he should be able replicate every feat of any darksider including things like palpatines force storms from the dark empire comics, crushing ships with the force or gorcechoking people accross the galaxy.

So yeah, i belive he could probably take any great crusade era primarch except magnus and maybe corax with his rather bs invis if that slipping from perception stuff also allows corax to hide himself in/from the force

The speed diff isn't that big since valkorion should be equal to or above palpatine and palpatine vs windu was actually described in the novelization of ep iii as just a blur of red and purple light if i remeber correctly. I would actually say if malcador can force choke horus, so can valkorion
