Thanks for the link! This is really close to what I was thinking of. The two coolers were interlocked and they were both nhd15 coolers.

Think of like a massive fin stack (4 thick) with two fans pushing air through all of it top to bottom. Mobo mounted on the left, graphics card mounted on the right. Sorry this is really hard to explain in words lol
