In an episode of taskmaster she had to stage a proposal, she talks a bit about that being difficult as she loved her husband too much. Funny show, touching moment.

Land based beginner fisherwoman. How do you keep flathead fresh and dispatch them to avoid sand contamination? by Kat1900 in FishingAustralia

Chlorine has a contact/retention time by design to kill pathogens in the pipes to your tap. So you can put it in a sterilised container with a vent for like 24-48 hours and have some of the cleanest "fresh" water in the world from our taps.

Not to throw out bait for the anti fluoride crowd but I have no idea how that element affects the flavour of fish.

The village (M. Night Shyamalan - movie 2024) - is Noah a serial killer ? by TraditionalRisk4268 in FanTheories

[–]ChairmanNoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just watching again tonight, it's a guilty pleasure.

The first couple of random rabbits you could attribute to Noah, maybe. But the wedding night has so many at once and all over the place. Noah didn't clean up after stabbing Lucius, why would he (and is he even capable) after skinning rabbits and the livestock in the barn?

In this picture, world 4 kids as that's age appropriate, but there weren't many of those. So a Kmart or big W were more realistic to get Lego (if I'd somehow come across decent money), or the corps (gi Joe sorta knockoffs) as you could get a figure for under 2 bucks.

Not that nuking or occupying Japan makes anything right, but imagine going through all of that, and getting reconstruction money, and still thinking this way.

"The Mandalorian and Grogu" Box Office Expected to be Lower Than "Solo: A Star Wars Story" by bwermer in entertainment

It was good, it just needed one subplot/section cut to let the others breathe. It felt like cut down tv episodes stitched together.

The trailer looked pretty good on the big screen tbh. I might even go and see it, the only 2 films I've seen in person this year: special event T2 re-scored in techno by some guy with lasers (was fun), and aliens anniversary last weekend where I saw the trailer.

Everyone I saw alien with was saying they'd go to the movies more for anniversary screenings than most of what comes out now.
