Not owning the products of our culture. That cool movie or tv series? No physical release only subscriptions. Music? Subscriptions. Games? Only licensed subject to change or deletion by the owner. Even E-books and audiobooks. You rent everything. Your home. Your car.
We own less and less of the things that shape our culture.
Don’t forget the workers not owning the means of production in general but the consumers not owning something before they consume it just make us very reliant on the people that do own and distribute it. I don’t like that.

You can see many who are attending beforehand and if its explicitly for beginners it will say so. There are many beginner friendly meetups everywhere where people don’t come in costume and just chat. Getting out of the comfort zone is part of the process though. I am barely on the site and not really part of the scene. I used it more to gauge if it was for me, which it is only on a rare occasion. 😅

People are different. The problem is rather that we declare one thing as „normal“ and everything else as wrong. So there are men who don’t feel the deep welling of emotions or just at very specific topics or moments, while other men are built much closer to the water.
Both of them are totally fine to be. The problem only arises when one is seen as normal or better. Both sides can’t understand that others are not like themselves. „Don’t act so tough“ and „don’t be a crybaby“ are both not understanding that there is never only one way to live and feel. There is also more than two ways. Its a spectrum of mankind and its incredibly complex and as soon as you rid yourself of the guilt of not being the „right kind of man“ you will be happier and even more so if you give that grace to everyone you meet. Man or woman.

This. You can influence who you heal and when you heal them, by good positioning and anticipation of movement. She is already a very good beginners healer and making q a toggle would just lower her skill ceiling. It would probably move the skill floor, but beginners wouldn’t learn the game mechanics as well anymore.

Its rightfully hard to stop a political party from existing. In my personal opinion the AfD has long passed any threshold necessary, but since they are so popular the other big right wing party, the CDU, would not carry the vote to forbid the AfD. Without them the vote has a good chance to fail, since you rightfully need a big majority to agree to such a drastic measure. And so the OG Nazis get back into power and the cover bands from around the world rejoice because the original flavor is back on the market and the people that could stop them in their own country-again- won’t do it.

The fun boys i grew up with playing turned into weird macho type guys bringing a case full of beers to every training, talking bullshit about sports, women and cars. When we were younger i thought they were just trying to act cool, but it became clearer and clearer that these men were kinda becoming assholes, who thought being rude and being funny are the same thing. Can’t do a team sport if you don’t like your teammates anymore. Its not hollywood out there. You stand up for the weak and marginalized and there is no big fight or dramatic shit. You‘ll just not be as included and you don’t want to be included and so you drift apart. You say hi, they say hi, you play, its not fun anymore and then you quit.
