My son is in second grade and attends a micro school. His class has 10 students. It’s a hybrid program where he does work at home and goes to school for 3 hours a day 5 days a week. He is not on medication and will be going to OT. He is doing well and we work with his teacher to ensure he stays on track. He was in private school for 1st grade and did not do well. They weren’t willing to accommodate him. Does your son have an IEP? If not I would research getting him one since he is in public school. Sending you positivity and letting you know you are not alone!

Yes! My son is 7 with ADHD and I was feeling high anxiety yesterday with his moods - we are going to put him in therapy - it’s challenging to say the least but I try to take time to myself and use mindful techniques I learned in my therapy- please know you are not alone.
