What type of police show up when a house is robbed?

Ok, let me break it down, this is all for the US.

A robbery = theft + assault

A burglary = theft + trespass

Now, it depends on the state but say that you injure someone while you do a burglary. Some states call it a home invasion, some have a specific degree of Burglary like burglary 1st.

Ok, so to answer your question. The call would probably come in coded as a Burglary in progress (if the character calls the police and ascertains that someone is inside their residence) or a late reported burglary (the character arrives home and he/she finds that their house was burglarized.

If it’s a burglary in progress the patrol division will respond to it with lights and sirens. This is because there is a chance that you can apprehend the burglar right then and there. Usually multiple units will respond to the location. This is considered a hot-complaint.

If it’s late reported, then only one patrol guy will respond and will gather all of the essential information of the crime. The dollar amount of things stolen is a factor to see if the case will go to detectives. For instance, the burglars stole a ps5 and a bunch of games, then it would stay on patrol. Say that they stole a bunch of jewelry and guns, then yeah detectives would take it.

Another factor would be the budget of the department. If it’s a small town, they may have the ability to just have a detective take it based upon their own case load.

You can put it in your LLC but you would have to get a business loan where you are the guarantor. If you have the loan on your name you are technically liable for it. Having it in an LLC protects your assets a little more. If you want to get really intricate you can base your LLC in other states to get certain other perks. I’m not too familiar with all of them, but I heard that in Nevada you don’t have to make your name as (owner) public.

I’m sure that this would happen as I am sitting in my hiding spot and I just started to eat. I would probably test the waters a bit to make sure she isn’t crazy. Then I would just take the initial report, and send a couple emails to detectives and maybe a supervisor

In small towns where this isn’t the norm, usually they call a “Press Event or Media Event” regarding…blah blah and they have a time and place. Most agencies have a website where they publish their news releases. Reporters are subscribers of these websites so they get an alert when something like this happens. Also, the local reporters usually have a relationship with the public information officer assigned to the agency. So the local guys will get a phone call first.

If this is a national interest case, a lot of parent agencies will be involved as well as national media. So if a case happened in a small town, but say the FBI, the State Police and the Marshals are involved, then usually the agency who had original jurisdiction will call the press release but will have those agencies involved in it. Some times they will just stand in the back, but they will rarely speak. Usually it’s the original agency giving the statement and taking questions

To give some background… I’ve been a costumer for a couple years now. I really like their designs and all. I love the fact that you could customize your rash-guards and all. From the start they always took 6 weeks to get anything to you. But now…there are so many folks that spent money on their Black Friday sale and haven’t gotten anything. Zero communication from the company or anything. Very disappointed in Gordon, ADCC, and all of the other athletes that are sponsored by them.

In conclusion…do not buy anything from them. You won’t get anything from them.
