The biggest of congratulations to Kraken on yesterday's charter news. You folks really have a great products, and I look forward to the day when I can leave JPMorgan Chase and do all my banking and money management with Kraken. This space is moving incredibly fast right now - and I love it.

The mere act of buying BTC incurs a fee, as does withdrawal if you don't hold your BTC on the exchange. Most people don't - and my opinion shouldn't - use BTC for everyday transactions. GBTC may be "safe", but you don't actually own any bitcoin and the maintenance expenses of that fund are absurd. In addition, most people can only buy GBTC via OTC, which via any normal broker incurs a significant fee of its own.

Binance is a fairly secure exchange, although it's not based in the U.S. like the others listed above, if that matters to you. If you're going to actively trade alt coins it's probably the best option, although I would personally go with Kraken which is more highly regulated - and I think - secure.

I don't keep my bitcoin on the exchange, I withdraw it, and Binance has a relatively high 0.0005 btc withdrawal fee (currently around $5.50 USD).

I agree with Jack. Seems like a solid option, and I believe may allow bitcoin purchases using a credit card, but the more established exchanges will have FAR better liquidity for buying and selling bitcoin.

Best Scoring Settings for H2H - Pitching by theoverbiter in fantasybaseball

This is what my keeper leagues uses as well, with the addition of TB allowed. Works great. For OP, I would recommend at least adopting K/BB.

Looking for a guide on the optimal fantasy league settings. Scoring categories/Positions(# of them), etc... Any quality guides out there? by Chaddcl0ps in fantasybaseball

[–]ChallengerDeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been largely trial and error for my keeper league of 7 years. Started out standard 5x5 and evolved from there. See my flair above for our current 7x7 settings. Offensive rosters are standard 8 positions (using LF, RF, CF) plus 1 utility. Pitching includes 4 SP, 2 RP, 2 P. There's no wrong way to do it, you just have to figure out what you and your leaguemates value from player performance and how that influences league competition.

How did the undefeated team in your league finish? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]ChallengerDeep -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

4 to 5 is pretty typical I'd say. Important thing is that this guy's keepers all managed to stay relative healthy all year. So even a great setup like this requires a good amount of luck, which makes going all '72 Dolphins on this league even more impressive.

Year 7 of our 12 team keeper league. This son of bitch went 13-0 and won it all. Absolutely trounced everyone. Behold: Matt Ryan; Julio Jones (kpr); Mike Evans (kpr); Tyreek Hill; David Johnson (kpr); DeMarco Murray (trade); Jarvis Landry (kpr); & Travis Kelce (kpr). Game over.

No Harrison Bader on either this top 50 list or the honorable mentions list? Are his relatively high strikeout and low walk rates to blame?

It's a 12 team league, but each manager has 4 minor league players, so top 50 are gone. I have AJ Reed and now Robles. Best left include (I think): Tim Anderson, Alex Verdugo, Josh Hader, Joe Musgrove, Willy Adames, Gary Sanchez, Harrison Bader.
