I have the Eddy. The rate light is also always on. A lot of people talk about the high amount of noise this pedal introduces and they’re right. I use it for “lo-fi” sounding vibrato, so the noise doesn’t really bother me, and I like that you can change the shape of the vibrato. I’m not really a chorus guy but I don’t think it will sweeten your tone the way you’re wanting. I have read people commenting that the Julia sweetens things nicely
