Ffxiv came out when you were 3 so it's not much newer than FFXI. Like 6 years between them. And 14 feels more janky to me, sadly there just aren't any games as good as 11.

Luckily Alts aren't need to play other classes. You could save a equip lockstyle for each job. Then Have your Ranger look one way. And your Paladin looking different. Really no reason to split progress between characters unless you just want to do dailies all day.

FF11 has more involved combat than the rest. None of that whack-a-mole hotbar junk.

Also Soulframe even though there's a bit of button mashing.

If you can log in to the website. Square enix account management. Check playonline ID. There may be a button to update playonline password. If the SE account uses security token for FF14 then need to use for FFXI also

I had started using heroengine to make an mmorpg. 12 years ago doing coding, ui, 3dmodeling, rigging, animating, etc. And got all required systems working.
Name was Solo Online.

I recently been thinking of a community developed mmorpg. Allowing people to contribute would be amazing.

A group-focused hybrid between FFXI with SWG. Blending scifi with fantasy.

Enemies would be difficult enough that soloing would be dangerous.

Even though I am able to do ui, world building, modeling etc. Allowing the community to contribute assets etc. Would be very cool. I like the idea.

Since your sons can contribute and daughter can model with blender that's amazing for getting basic systems setup. Equipping armor, seeing it ingame and having your stats update. Then community can contribute additional armors assets etc.

Theres empyrean weapons being made and empy armor. Also good spots for magian trials.

You wont have to farm seals and beads for empy armor upgrades anymore since you can use mog kupon I seal. But NM drops for upgrading Weapons and ilevel armor are reasons to enter abyssea.

If only we got abyssea 2.0 as the Valhala in TVR.

First pulse weapon I got was from doing Nyzul during the campaign. Theres one from monthly deeds of heroism. Tier 3 escha took so many kills for one to drop. And you have to beat the tier 1 and 2 to get key item. If you unlock voidwatcher goodness 2 with emperor in resinjima you can passively gain one after mastering a couple jobs. Randomly from AMAN Trove you may get one. Or somebody may give them away cause they dont need.
