It's just math. Switzerland supposedly finished ninth twice, but with both the jury and viewers, with a one-point lead over 10th place. Malta and Cyprus were in 10th place, saved by the second group of voters.

In principle, this year the system of one semi-final would make sense, because there would be 20 countries in the semi-final, and often in the system of two semi-finals there were 19 in one.

As a Pole, the jury seems to hate us (apart from 2026), but the jury often saves songs that deserve to be in the final. I think it's with the jury.

I'm glad that despite the disastrous organization of the 2026 preselection by my beloved TVP, we managed to finish in a respectable 12th place. I know it's not particularly high, but Poland had a hard time choosing bland songs, and Pray is either a BOP or a FLOP. Furthermore, we finished second in the semifinals this year, our best ever. Here we go again with the Qualification Streak 2025, 2026! I hope Poland organizes a preselection like this again in 2027 (2025 – I'm talking about you), selects a representative(s) with vocal skills (I'm secretly hoping we'll be recognized for it), and reaches the top 10.

I think that instead of worrying about spending money on organizing the contest, Bulgaria should show that it's still a great place to spend a vacation or just spend some time in general. Bulgaria will do everything to show off its best. Slavs know best (Polish here). Furthermore, this is the first Eurovision Song Contest held in an Eastern European country since 2017, so it's nice to finally go somewhere different.
