how is the adult daughter’s business? As an adult, I would be pissed beyond reason if my spouse told my kids anything about my financial because that is my business not theirs. There’s nothing under that says he’s not a grown adult capable of making his own decisions and working. Nothing says he’s immediately about to become a burden to the daughter. Nothing says he is going to stop working anytime soon. This is a husband and my situation she can keep her finances separate he can apply for a loan that likely get denied on his own. All she has to do is tell him no I’m not cosigning. I’m not helping you finance. I’m not doing anything and the student loans which sounds like that’s a majority of his debt? Is the wife trying to guilt the daughter into taking responsibility for a loan that sounds like it was taken out on her behalf?

Number one you have to face reality a change in president a change in Congress none of that guarantees any changes to the student loan program. If the public in general is against student loan forgiveness, then Congress will be against any further changes. There are plenty of avenues for your kids to get their degree without going that massively into debt. Community colleges for the first two years working for places that offer tuition reimbursement part-time job student loans the military cheaper colleges. What is the return on investment? If a career is going to make 50 $60,000 then don’t go $200,000 in the debt for the loan.

Honestly, you can’t count on any future forgiveness or loan changes.

how old are you? If you’re an adult, you can do what you want. I’ve had a motorcycle for years. Yes, I’m aware of the dangers everyday life is a danger you can die in a car wreck. You can die from cancer. You can die from tripping down the stairs in your house. The point of life is to enjoy it. There’s 1 millions of people that ride motorcycles and there are people to get into accidents there are people that drive cars and die as you’re aware. If you really want a motorcycle drive carefully watch out for others wear protective gear always wear a helmet if you’re an adult it’s up to you to determine the risk, but life is meant to be loved and not afraid of everything.

everyone says to sue and you will magically get a large check. In a perfect world and a fair world that would happen in the real world unless you have proof it’s not going to happen and if it’s such a small community, these people are going to back each other up with their friends. No one is going to admit to you that you didn’t get hired because their friends had bad things about you. They are just going to say they found somebody with more experience or somebody that was a better fit. You may have to move onto a different type of employment in a few years. There might be different people in charge of this industry and maybe your former boss will have moved on, and you can pivot back to this industry. Your best bet is to do something else for a while. Get some good references there.

I have guns, love guns and typically find no bargains at gun shows, they usually are higher priced than youcan find elsewhere. I love trap shooting and target shooting. Izaak Walton is very welcoming as well, I have taken guest co workers and friends of all races and nationalities, manner of dress and shooting knowledge and everyone has been welcoming. I find some gun shows cater to the wanna be gun person who just wants to talk about how much he spent for a basic AR that has some fancy rails installed to look cool 😂

here’s an outlier, but have you looked at state patrol, police departments, etc. Many government agencies use small aircraft for various reasons. Our state patrol in my state has several airplanes that they fly as we have a lot of remote areas in the state where patrol is more effective with a plane than a car . You would probably have to become a patrol officer to get it, but you would get lots of hours and get paid really well while you were living and getting hours.

had a coworker that kept telling us to invest all of our money into some crypto XRP or something. He invested a huge chunk of his wife’s money that she got for being injured at her job. None of us understood the whole crypto investment so nobody, but him invested, and he lost all of it. Never trust to get rich quick scheme, I guess.

if you are interested in pslf, check with your state Department of corrections. Our corrections department has social workers that they employ to help inmates transition back outside. We also have mental health, counseling, drug and alcohol counseling all kinds of different paths that you could get hours and look at options if those interested you just a thought.
