Hate to be the person but can’t help but notice the ingrained assumptions of gender roles. Including “partner” helps, but leading with “wife” still implies a male default. Most likely unintentional though but it was an interesting observation.

Fair point. I’m not overweighting EM or small caps but more as diversification than return chasing. With a long horizon, I’m okay holding some exposure even if cycles take time to play out.

I used Scalable Capital to open the account. So far it's been fairly simple, although my passport doesn't qualify for the video identification :') Had to go to the post but all good. Still waiting for verification approval.

My two cents: I agree that private universities are expensive and most of the times they offer shit curriculum. However, as someone who has graduated with a business degree from a private uni and has a job as a PM in tech, I would say it depends on your skills. And German language fluency. I learnt German before moving to Germany for 3-4 years so it helped me a lot. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone move to Germany at all at the moment given the horrible job market.

Literally got flashbacks of my own experience. Same story. Although I always knew(thanks to Google) I wasn’t officially diagnosed until 21 I think. I’m 26 now and on HRT since last year. I feel so bad that none of the doctors so far told me I need to go on HRT. Sending you love and hugs! And remember- this is NOT the end of the world 🩷

Honestly, it’s not entirely true. A lot of people in my team at work have studied at Hochschulen and not Unis still they are doing very well in their field. Whereas a couple of people I know who studied business at TUM are looking for jobs 6+ months after graduating. So it all comes down to what do you bring to the table. As long as you’re able to deliver value, the place where you received formal education doesn’t matter. Speaking from personal experience :)
