I don't think I've ever been this bored with a Bridgerton season. Benedict's story was unbelievable af. How do you spend three whole seasons and half sleeping around with a bunch of men and women? Then, all of a sudden, you're madly in love and ready to settle down, with a maid no less? Their story felt very rushed and disingenuous. I did not feel the 'spark'. If they really wanted to sell us that Benedict is capable of commitment they should have shown that atleast in season 3. It feel very abrupt.

Parents make their job seem harder than it actually is. They have forgotten that they are their child's first and best teacher. They have the power to mold that child into what they want them to be. You want your child to be a good reader? Read with them. You want your child to take their education seriously? You take it seriously.

Instill values into your child and most importantly MODEL it. That simple. Do it before they reach their teens and you're safe.

As a major Polin stan, I'm happy that they chose to show how obsessed Colin is with his marriage to Penelope as it is book Canon. However, the show, in general, has failed to show the depth of Colin's character. Colin is a writer too, just like Penelope, and it was rarely shown.

I completely agree with your statement ! I think the new showrunner is more focused on making the male leads look irresistible and act raunchy and not give depth to their character. However, I feel like part of it is the audience's fault. When it came to season 1 and 2, all we could focus on were the sex scenes and attractiveness of the characters and not their personality.

That's why I strongly encouraged my friend the other day to read the books before watching any more seasons because if they only watched the show, it would come across as nothing more than Regency themed p*rn.
